I'll check out your thread LP. I'm sorry your not doing well this morning. At least it is Friday. I'm glad I have a busy weekend planned or else I'd probably just sit home and mope all weekend long, and I know that won't get me anywhere.
Yesterday was just a reminder of how my actions and behavior lead to where we are now.

Something I could tell from my 10 second interaction with him, is he has not done sh*t to work on himself. I can just tell. And he didn't look very good. Scruffy beard, his hair all out of whack. The positive I saw in that was I know that I'm going to make it. Like the Garth Brooks song "She's gonna make it"
She's gonna make it And he never will He's at the foot of the mountain And she's over that hill He's sinking at sea, and her sails are filled She's gonna make it, and he never will

Seems to be the story for a lot of WASs. Not all of them. Some of them actually go in the opposite direction. You two are going in entirely different directions right now with your lives. I'd rather be you than him.
I agree with jb. You may be in more 'pain' right now than him (who really knows) but *you* are working on yourself and *you* will come through this process more bloodied, bruised but stronger and more resilient! Your H, if he doesn't work on himself, will repeat the same mistakes over and over. That doesn't sound like much of a life to me.

I'm sorry that you are having an extra tough time right now. I'm glad you have a busy weekend ahead of you...that will be good for your spirits.
I love the GB song you posted. Another one that you might enjoy (might make you even smile a bit!) is Taylor Swift's song "Mean." Check it out if you don't know it. I guarantee you'll like it.
Listen to it, along with Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" (I could go on and on with suggestions) then go wash your face, fix your cute hair, put on a little makeup and something that you look good in and go have some fun.
