I'm very blessed to have such great friends - as they keep reminding me, it's hard now, but in a year, I'll look back and be in a better place - regardless of who I'm with. And if I am with someone, it will be someone who deserves me - and right now, H is *not* that person.

Girl your friends are absolutely right. I remind myself of that also.
In a year from now, we'll be able to look back at this point in our lives and say "Look what I got through."

You have some great friends! We all need to remind ourselves of that. Lets get T shirts with that printed on, haha!

Thanks, guys - I'm feeling better today. I was up late last night talking to my friend T - he's a really good and rational influence. I always feel better after I talk to him - I worry I'm a little too dependent on him, but when I mentioned it he poo-poohed it.

Anyway. One day at a time.

Yep, that is the best we can do. Sometimes I go by one hour at a time. Those are the very bad days.

I talk with my brother when I am down, like your friend, he is very rational about things and always makes me feel better.

I'm still dreading the holidays, though.

I'm dreading the holidays also, even though Christmas last year was awful.
We spent almost the whole day fighting.
But still...the thought of him not being there...

I tell myself I won't worry about it until the time comes.

Had a good night last night, although I'm a little down this morning. Hopefully happy hour with friends will cheer me up.

Email from H today - I thought maybe I was going to make it more than 2 days without hearing from him. This one was about how he's going to be paying down his credit card more so if I see those withdrawals from our account, be aware, and since the refi should be done and we can split our account soon it's not a big deal but he wanted me to know.

Looking through my Deleted mail, I'm getting mail from him about every other day. I really just want to not have to hear from him, at all. Bad enough I have to see him 3 days a week without email showing up all the time.
