Yea, they’re very perceptive to changes in the pack. My pup doesn’t stray too far and has become a little overprotective. It is a trait of his breed.

Got here late.

Yes, bemused. I am still trying to wrap my head around what she wanted with the small dehumidifier from the gun safe.

Oh for the computer, erasing and deleting from the HD is not sufficent. With a little time I can recover most to all if this is all that has been done. We used to use a piece of freeware called "WIPE" to prevent data from being recovered on HDs discarded from th shop. It has been years since we worried about it and longer since I used the utility, but I am sure there are varients of it still around.

All I can say is try to embrace it. Once you make it yours and get your routine established things will be better. Oddly enough, it seems like the turning point for me is when I hired someone to clean the house. They did a lot of nice things the first time and now I only have to maintain them.

Now's the time to get the GAL'ing machine cranked up!

Hang in there Telemark. Keep checking in with us and let us know how you're doing.

I'm OK, jb. Went over to Lancaster last night and met 2 very dear friends for dinner. Had a lot of fun, drank a lot of wine. This morning was a little rough...but it was all so worth it.

Bought the manly TV-Samsung Insignia 42" LED with all of the bells & whistles-and a kick-butt surround sound system yesterday. Also bought something called a Roku2 Streaming Media player; now I can get all kinds of streaming movies, sports, etc. I didn't even know existed. Got a great deal on everything, so I actually have $$$ to buy something to sit on. How exciting is my life?

KD should be chiming in anytime about this...wait for it...wait for it...

P.S...

Of course last night's dinner talk eventually got around to my situation. My 2 friends - husband & wife - still attend the church I used to attend, which is how we know each other; we were in the praise & worship band & choir together. I had told them last week what was going on so they already knew what was up.

Apparently word has gotten around back there about my impending availability status, because a couple of women were asking my friend lots of questions about me.

Now, I am in no place right now to dive into another relationship, especially when I am still married. But it was nice to hear that even though I'm an old geezer I can still generate some interest. cool

Sounds like a great night of GAL'ing! I'm not surprised by the interest in your relationship status. The women will be knocking your door down in no time! cool
Enjoy that TV of yours. I have no idea what any of that means, but I'm sure KD will be impressed! wink
Have a blessed Sunday!

No Roomba, I'm afraid. I could train the dogs to bring us drinks & snacks, though...

hmmmm... ok... that might work... although we'd have to make sure they don't dip into the snacks before they arrive in our hands... lol

And if they train REALLY well, they can go to the corner store during the games if supplies run low... cool

"The women will be knocking your door down in no time!"

As you said in one of your posts:"Aw, shucks..."

"I have no idea what any of that means, but I'm sure KD will be impressed!"

You know us guys: we're impressed by anything with a lot of undecipherable letters and words.
