It is a process....and I have always been a person who wants things right away, so being patient is hard for me. It is good for me though, because it's teaching me patience in a lot of other areas of my life.

H just texted me and asked me if I wanted to meet for lunch sometime this week. After all day of no contact he is reaching out. I always respond immediately to his texts, but I'm going to sit on this one for a little while. I don't want to play games, but I don't want to appear too eager either.
He had said he would go with me to my IC session this week, we'll see if he actually does or not.

DG,

GREAT steps forward. He wants to meet for lunch and see the IC. IC may help alot.

I have only been hoping for my H to come to MC knowing it makes a difference.

Well, he's been saying he'll go with for a while now but has yet to actually go. I hope he does, but I'll still be going regardless.

----Journaling again

How is it that I felt fantastic yesterday, but today I am sad.
I'm trying to remain positive.

Hey D, Sorry you are feeling sad. It's all a normal part of this. They dont call this a rollercoaster ride for nuthin'. LOL! Strap yourself in, there will be a lot of bumps and curves.

The thing that will help you the most is to detach. You'll be hearing that word a lot.

And you have to dig in and learn patience. Those two things will serve you well as you navigate through this.

I would not ask him again about going with you to IC. He knows you want him to, leave it up to him - no pressure, right?

What are you doing for you this week?
