I hope you keep posting Harrier, or at least if you feel the need to vent.

For me being here reminds me that there really is no stopping point, there is no 'safe' I can always do better.

Thank you for the kind words.

Some people don't mix well. I have a few I don't do well with and they don't do well with me; and that's just a really nice way of saying how we get along.

Along those lines, it is very easy to put emotion into text when you (collective) read it, was it the emotion the writer intended?
Dunno.

Communication is a two way street. And while some things are very clear in intent, ambigious intnet or content/context? I like to give the benefit of the doubt, and any confusion on my part, well I feel I should ask for clarification.

well, that what I say, I also need to be better about actually doing that.

DBmod...

I don't envy DB. DB gets to be the 'heavy', me? I get to be the nice guy everyone likes. In the past DB even editted some of my posts. So I understand the feeling of frustration, and while I did...I also knew exactly why DB edited my posts.

DB has a thankless job and does DB best to do it. In a community DB has the unenviable posistion of caring/investing about the same people DB has to cull, and knowing pretty much that when DB edits content its going to upset the poster and anger them.

Not suggesting you throw flowers at DB. Its a non-paying job, on top of day job, where there are parameters that when enforced, bring grief. We don't even agree all the time : ) But I respect her comittment.

Not defending DB, DB can do that, but usually doesn't. Just pointing out a thankless job, no one else is doing.

Enough of that.

Harrier, I hope you stay.
