Yesterday I felt physically terrible. I had a horrible nights sleep, dreamed I had cancer...imagine that! So, in the evening I was at home and I decided rather than sit there by myself and feel lousy I'd go to a church prayer meeting. About a year ago I went to this church a woman friend was going to and joined the prayer group there. I finally left the church because the person involved in breaking up my best friends marriage decided to go there. I couldn't deal with going to church with that person...forgive me Lord!!! But, I've kept in touch with some of the prayer group through Face Book. Of all the Christians who knew of my father's death the people from this group were the only ones to ask if they could come to the memorial, which they did. So, last night, although I have not been attending that church I decided to go and pray with them. I felt it was the place I should be last night. It was a wonderful experience and I feel so blessed that I went. A wonderful, loving and supportive small group of people. God works in mysterious ways! I felt so much better when I got home and thanked them all on FB this morning. Today is also wife's birthday so I'm taking her and the kids out for dinner tonight to a Korean BBQ place.
