Thanks everyone! Dad's on his way out, tonight they put him on oxygen, he can hardly talk and is just so weak. I went with Mom to the funeral home today to discuss arrangements. I told Dad they seemed like good people who will look after him and us. A touching moment for me was at one point Dad looked over and saw Mom had closed her eyes. He began trying to talk and pointing at Mom, he was asking her if she was OK. The end will be coming soon. I pray he goes in his sleep. I'll miss him so but he's ready to go. Be with God, Dad.

(((Wii))) I was afraid this was why you were posting early today. My heart goes out to you and your family. But he went peacefully as you wished - in his sleep. And he won't suffer anymore.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there - the next few days will be peaceful but hopefully also a joyous time of great memories.
Oh wii.....I have never lost a parent so I cannot say I understand. But I do feel for you at this time. It is so apparent to us how much you loved your dad and I am glad that you had time to spend with him and say the things you wanted to say to each other...
My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. You have been a picture of strength and comfort to your family during all of this. Please be sure that you are getting the comfort and support you need during your grieving process. It will be so important for the years to come.
No regrets, no fears, peace and love.
