Positives:

1> He called me "Sunshine". Oooo...I love that...a nickname I'll try really hard to live up to!

2> He set up Everquest for me so that I could play while he was at work. I had an enjoyable time!

3> He spends most, if not all, of his time at home with me. We have great conversations and wonderful quality time. I'm getting so much wonderful time with him, that I don't mind as much when he can't spend time with me. I am able to trust that we'll have time together soon, even if not immediately!

4> When a difficult issue arose the other day, we both apologized and listened to the other person. We resolved it in a kind and compassionate way. Yeah for us!

5> We have an ongoing chess game...tons of fun!

6> He has been wonderfully patient and kind when he teases me and I respond all seriously. I gotta keep working on lightening up!

Hugs all!

Hello All,

I had a great weekend with my husband. He actually had both Saturday and Sunday off! Woot!

Positives:

1> We went to see my Aunt and Uncle on Saturday.

2> We went to see his Mom and brothers on Sunday.

3> We got to spend lots of time together!

4> He told his Mom and brothers that the Salmon that I cook for him is 'delish'!

5> He was loving and gentle to me in front of his family!

6> He helped me set up Everquest on my computer, so that I could play in my Study. This is doubly good because it preserves the privacy of his Study.

7> We continue to play Chess!

8> We Sat night, then again Sun morning!

9> His Mom was nice to me. She made a point of including me in conversations.

10> His Mom praised my outfit and told me I looked pretty!

11> I'm down 5 pounds!

Hugs all!

Shiny responded to my tornado dreams on Zoo's thread. Very helpful, so am posting here for my journal!

The tornado dream is a common one...I've had them, CJ's had them, so has my Dad.

The idea is pretty basic...tornados, whirlwinds, chaos, out of control, danger, pain, things getting torn apart, displaced, swirled about....

We dream these when we feel overwhelmed, scared, ungrounded etc. How far away the storm is, how scared you are etc. all indicate how "near" the real life parallel is to you.

(For example, the one where the tornado picks up your car!!! that;s a close call! but I love that you land and all is fine!)

The ability to now CONTROL these tornadoes is VERY significant, Zoo...they suggest a waking parallel...greater sense of control over life's "storms" or any one "big" storm. I've done magic in my nightmares too...levitated and danced a boogy with Frankenstein in one as a child!

Thank you Shiny!!

Hugs.

Good day PnB,

Just dropping by to wish you a Happy New Year! Like your resolution and think this year, you'll be the blossom in the garden that gets the blue ribbon!!

BTW, CAW has taken to the herbal pillow as it does tend to sooth her better than anything she tried before. ... and didn't have to worry about selling her on it as she actually received one (also with cats) earlier in the week from her best friend (they exchanged and opened them on the last day worked before the holiday). When D10 saw it, she blurted out "Well, there goes that gift!" Shortly after Christmas the one her friend gave her disappeared. I think D10 hid it, so she been using the one we gave her pretty frequently.

'til later,
KAW
