As I mentioned, W's grandma passed away night before last. W's mom was in S. Korea visiting W's brother and was trying to get home before her mom (W's grandma) passed. She didn't make it. Sad bc I know that W's mom wanted to be here.
Anyway, MIL arrived this afternoon.
W texted me.
W: "My mom is home safe. We r with her at her house now."
Me: "Good. thx for letting me know. I was going to call later. Have a meeting with IC in 15 minutes. Call you later?
W: "Ok. We will be here all evening."
I had my IC session... which was very good in helping me cope with where I am.
Afterwards, I texted my W:
Me: "Hey... can I come by to see you guys and your mom, or would that be too much for her?"
W: "That's fine with us"
Me: "K. Be there in a little while."
I went to MIL's house and spent a couple of hours with W, SS, MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL and niece. It went really well... At least I think so.
W and I talked quite a bit (not about R) and there was lots of joking and laughing with everyone. I gave my W a slight squeeze on the shoulder when I arrived. Sat by her the entire time I was there. There was a nice hug with W before I left. We told each other "talk to you later" and I said goodbye.
I don't think that I can ask for too much more right now...

Oh... and I hugged MIL when I got there and told her how sorry that I was for the loss of her mom. I could tell that MIL was happy that I was there.
Order flowers for MIL to be delivered tomorrow morning.

Maybe I'll make up a drug habit or something I guess...
