How is your friend doing...the one that was headed to the attorney? I was just wondering if you had talked to her about any of the DBing that goes on, and if that had any effect on her decisions.

I haven't heard from her lately. She's in FL, and we email mostly. After that email, I got another that said she was just in the dumps,and to ignore it. We're friends because our H's were drill sergeants together. I want to tell my H about the latest, but she asked I not, and it wouldn't do anything anyway. Her H has left his old life entirely behind.

You seem to be happy and have peace of mind. Your R with your H must be OK. That is great.

I am not sure about my W. Still in limbo land. Not sure also when she is willing to work on our R. Two weeks ago I asked her whether she wants to go to Retro weekend. She declined. So I did not pursue further. If she wants to stay, why does not she want to improve our R? Does she want to live like this all her life? She can move out and live her own life. Nobody stops her. Why does she stay? A lot of questions, no answer.

One year ago, we attended our Retro weekend. I heard H tell me that weekend, that he loved our family, he was 'in love' with OW, and that would never change. It was this weekend, he told me he promised to be with her forever someday.
Things have been good. Son had an MRI on his knee late last night, and H went along without being asked, without being prompted. (Son has had a swollen knee without any known cause for 3 weeks now).
Haven't heard from my friend about the attorney. Yes, she's been a visitor to the boards, I think. I do worry.

H got the job! He won't be seeing OW every day!
Called him back on the phone, and was very calm about it. Maybe it was where he was at. He stays in the current job until mid-July,

I am glad for your H, but even more thrilled for you. The end of OW temptation!

That is great! Out of sight out of mind. I hope that is the end of the saga with the ow.

I wish my W would change her job too. Then it is better for the family.
