So start again. Can't undo the past. Start with quitting smoking.

Exactly. Just pull back, and do things differently.

Yeah, today is my last pack of black and milds. She will be dropping off the kids with me tonight around 7, and she will be going out on a date. Lovely days . . . . just lovely

Okay, I read it all. I think you have only just begun here, why would you give up now?

You have received some good advice, but so far it is not sinking in. You need to take your focus off her and focus on YOU. You can't change her mind for her, only she can change it.

You need to build yourself up, and do it truly for you, not as a superficial thing to win her back.

Here are some questions for you...

How is the job search going?

Who taught you what it means to be a man? Your father, your mother, anyone else? Would you say they did a good job?

If you could snap your fingers and improve three things about YOU right now, what would they be?

1. Well i start training to sell life insurance monday at 8:30

2. My father, but he was 60 when I was born and I never saw him work, only take care of my brother and I and take care of houshold responsibilities. I never really saw him interact with my mother cause she worked overnights and slept through the day. So i watched my older brother in his relationships(he was a A hole, with bad rage problems and a cheater to boot). I basically learned what not to do from him and inherited my fathers rage problem and my mothers stubborness. Id say he (my father) did the best he could

3.I would be very motivated, I would be able to keep total control of myself and my emotions, I would be much more self confident.

I am going to recommend you pick up two books given this information: [*]

Also, have you read DB or DR? I don't recall from reading back.

Yes i have read DB all the way through. I simply have found it hard to implement the techniques with too much free time on my hands from lack of employment, hopefully that will change after monday.

We are pulling for you!

What can you do to fill up any free time on your hands. I suppose it would determine a lot by where one lives, but it seems as if I never have enough free time.

There is a ton of free information on line about any subject you might gain from studying. Of course, one would need to enjoy reading.

It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
