Let's recap, shall we?? 1) Got to work ON TIME 2) My little ELL kiddo was out sick-- not good, but I did get some extra free time that way to do lesson plans (I am a silver lining girl) 3) Closed on my house refi over lunch. Got a 4.3% interest rate, down from the 6.5 that I had. Woo to the Hoo baby... 4) Went and weighed in after school. Down 2 pounds on the scale but by his measurements I lost 4 lbs of body fat bc I have a higher lean mass than I did last week (I just trust the man with the calipers on this one!) 5) Served at Youth Group tonight cooking and cleaning and serving food to middle and high school kids. Fun times always. Our Pastor is just awesome too... He texted me (we have a young--28--pastor) to see if I needed any tea or anything since he knows I have been sick. I love my church! 6) Came home and spent some time texting with HG while working on my final for night class. He is a VP at a bank in the lending department and he also said it was an awesome time to do a refi. 7) Just submitted my final and I got 100% You submit your answers online and get an instant grade report. He asked me how much $$ he owed me for the kids' Christmas gifts that I picked up for him (I was already at Toys R Us on Black Friday), I replied. See a pattern here? And yet I asked him last week his Christmas plans (it is his turn for Christmas but we always split the holidays anyway so we both have time w/kids) and he has not replied to that although he has texted and emailed about other things. The past 2 years we have done Christmas morning together, which is what I want to do this year. As long as Santa exists for my kids I want to be there Christmas morning. Then I told him I'd like Christmas day bc my sis is coming to town that day, and he could have Christmas Eve. Besides he has the kids that whole weekend anyway and his mom wants to do their Christmas on Saturday 12/26. So hopefully I will get them for the afternoon/evening of 12/25. Then I will have them for New Year's which is fun bc they like to wear hats and have horns and all that jazz... Went shopping and got 90% of my Christmas shopping done. Stores aren't nearly as crowded on a Thursday mid afternoon as they are on Saturdays! Treated myself to Chinese for my night class since I am doing so well weight wise. Funny it was so rich I could not eat it all...but that is a good thing. Back to my healthy food tomorrow, I can only indulge once in a while. Anyway got a fortune cookie and it cracked me up. It said, "You and your spouse will have a happy life together..." I say Spring 2011 we meet in Vegas or SoCal. Both are nice and warm but Vegas tends to have cheap flights and packages.
