I'm 205lbs. I should be 185Lbs(5'11") Healthy. Sad part is 205 is after losing a ton of muscle if that gives a visual.

I finally hit the Gym last night. Haven't slept as good as I did last night in quite awhile.

Tried to talk myself out of going about 2 hours before I left work, but I conquered that demon. smile

Going to force the consistency.

Good job, Faith. You'll find you actually gain energy from working out. And ditch the damn coffin nails! wink

Beer? I treat myself to one every other night or so. A good beer too, not PBR or some other swill. As long as I'm at my weight and I've been good about working out/running, I don't see a problem with one. YMMV...

Hey PBR is bad if it's chilled to 40 degrees. then again what beer isn't.

My favorite it the Scottish ale Belhaven. soo good.

I was 240 pre bomb. was down to 198 now I'm 220. Not bad for 6'4"
I could move so much better at 210. I'm working on hat now.

Beer is good though.
I had to choose to give up coffee or beer. Tuff chice but I chose coffee.

It does take awhile to get used to a morning beer.
haha just kiddin. smile

Blech ~ I dropped 14 lbs in 13 days during the 1st two weeks of the bomb. Stayed there for a while. I just could not swallow food and lived on a liquid diet for 6 weeks. Bad thing was I run so I was in negative calorie burn every day. My hair started thinning and my thryroid went wacky. I've leveled off but man, people started commenting when I got down to 112. Not a good weight for me. I like the 120 range better.

But I did notice that when I started gaining it back my body held on to it differently than before. it really did a number on my metabolism.

I read that as "crash dieting" (voluntary or otherwise). Not enough protein, vitamins and trace minerals, interupts the anagen hair growth phase and all sorts of other nasty side-effects including (but not limited to) bone-loss if you are not getting enough calcium and vitamin D.

I went from 285 44/46 waist to 195 34 waist. Though I am going to the gym almost everyday and focusing primarily on cardio. I do weight train, but only for toneing. I really don't focus on how much I can bench. I was worried about that whe I was younger and playing ball...now I focus on the most important muscle the heart!
