Another thing to be grateful for:

Those relatively new foam/plastic jackolanterns with electric bulbs. They don't rot, you re-use them every year, they don't attract insects like real pumpkins do.

I am grateful for foam/plastic jacolanterns with electric bulbs. Better than real jackolanterns.

After 5 years, my friendly scarecrow is getting a little ragedy, but the foam pumpkins haven't even needed a bulb replacement yet.

I have channeled it into other decor-related ventures.

This year, I added sounds of thunder with a sycronized strobe light and a spooky welcome matt to the decor. I was thinking about adding some of those glowing eyes that you put in your bushes.

Another thing to be grateful for: large, clear plastic suction cups with a hook that hold up to 4lbs each.

Was trying to figure out how to hang a wreath now that I have a storm door outside my entry door.

I am grateful for those clear plastic suction cups with a hook.

I'm grateful for ice. Water without ice is just not quite right.

I think she did too, but I hear that she wants to enlarge them again for the geriatric version of Baywatch called "Where is the bedpan?"
