What's the matter, you think it's odd that your wife who doesnt want to be married anymore is laughing it up with you and telling you where she's going and when she'll be back?

They need to put the cuckoo back in the clock, don't they?

I swear sometimes I think it's me who's crazy. LOL!

You sound good, my friend.

Certainly better than any movie I've seen lately.

Brook,

Didn't you get the memo?

We ARE crazy...

Gritter,

You are beginning to live the interesting stuff. This is the stuff that happens, when you take off the bulls-eye.

Just remember, you can end up wearing it again just as quickly as it was removed.

Grit,

Have you considered the fact that we were somehow transported to a parallel time zone and are back in High School? I feel that way sometimes when talking with H, or anyone for that matter.

I think that your wife talking to you is great. Just let her lead and see where it takes you, but stay far enough away to pull off to the side of the road in case she runs off a cliff.

hightops.

Popular for a brief moment in the 80's as was

Starion turbo (car)
Merkur(a car company by Mercury)
Kajagoogoo (band)
Flashdance (movie)

I am pretty sure Eric can identify with all or most of the above.

Why do I only remember the movie Flashdance? I promise, I did not spend the 80's stoned. I had 4 kids by the end of the 80's. OHHHHHH, that's how it happened. My attention must have been elsewhere.

I was 6 in 1980 ... I remember Sesame Street ...

... and Flashdance ... but who doesn't remember Flashdance (and those sexy leg warmers!)

Saw them open for "The Fixx" believe it or not.

To my chagrin, I also saw "The Bangles" when they opened for "The Thomspon Twins".

Oh... and did I mention "Sparks" and "Gary Myrick"?

Time that is some obscure sh!t!

I consider myself a music aficionado but you got me there...

I bet the Bangles and Tom Twins rocked!

What can I say, that's not so obscure by 1980s, Southern California (where I grew up) standards.

I remember when "The Cult" was "The Southern Death Cult" and playing clubs around Hollyweird smile

And don't get me started on the punk and skater bands like "RKL" (Rich Kids on LSD), "The Dead Kennedys", "TSOL" (True Sounds of Liberty), and "Social Distortion".

Oh... and I saw "The Tubes" for the first time in 1978! And the second time on the "Telecide" tour when they were popular grin
