The meetup date was nice. We stayed at the restaurant for 3 and half hours talking. Then they closed. She seemed very cheerful and smiled much more than was in her pictures. There may be some electricity, but I was grounded so as to not cause any static discharge.
I am taking care of the kids tomorrow on XW weekend as she has errands to do. I think that I will take up Woogs offer for friends/family shopping discount and then take the kids to the Polish festival to see if we can learn something of our Polish heritage.

OMG! The kids and I are so hot tonight. It is 78 degrees outside and rather humid. I cant wait until it cools down some so I can open the windows to cool off the 76 degree interior.
LOL- 78 is hot?! You should've been here yesterday when we broke all records reaching a nice cooking temp of 114 degrees.

You must be near downtown LA. My co-worker's boyfriend lives down there. Their AC is broken. He left work twice yesterday to go back to his condo to soak their dog with cold water. Craziness.

I can't imagine LA at 113!! Of course here in KS, once maybe the whole summer but we had a couple of weeks in the 100's. Yesterday when I left for work it was only 47. It was in the 50's this morning. Fall is here, let's hope it stays a while before Winter crashes in.
