My H's OW 'outed' their A to me on FB. She thought I would race to an attorney for a divorce. First, I got this invitation to be a friend from someone I didn't know, and innocently accepted. Was treated to 34 pics of her and my H. Canceled FB account immedicately.
H, who always made fun of FB, texting, etc., now is right in the thick of things, FB acct and all.
Oh - and don't even get me started on the greater social ills of social networking. It's fine if used properly but the problem is, how many people actually use this stuff wisely before getting sucked into the vortex?!!!
I totally agree that FB used by a drifting mind is like gas on kindling. All that is missing is a spark. The spark of an old "friend", bf/gf, etc. My wife commented that she was in distracted state of mind from Apr 15 to when I caught her FB activity (she just got through tax season). Anyway, that comment along with what you mentioned about a drifting mind, is exactly where she was. IMO she was ripe for the taking by any saavy predator on FB, which is exactly what was happening. So, communication problems in our marriage + distracted mind using FB = EA and could have been more if I had not intervened.

u so right Punch. suspect my W fell right into hands of FB predator. it is not to say that she is entirely innocent bc she is NOT. but know from OMW that OM had tendency to do these things on FB. had done it in past w/ other women not just my wife. that's his M.O. W was in the right place at right time w/ right mindset, i.e., dissatisfaction w/ M, w/ me, etc. our M had been limping along since last year w/ my sh!tty DB'ing.
