Hey, just keep moving forward. Not much else you can do ... at least, that's what I did when I was at the stage you are at. You can only do the best you can, and the rest is up to God, the universe or just the vagaries of chance. Just know you will be okay, and you will be.

Feeling good today. Talked with my mortgage broker again and we figured out there is no way that W will be able to keep the house unless I am forced to pay completely OUTRAGEOUS sums of support that would be beyond anything ever seen before.
W still insists that there will be equity in the house. If so, maybe we sell it. The house I am looking to rent is for sale for over $100k less than we owe on the current house and it is nice. Not as nice a view or walk out basement, but the pool is a nice touch too. We'll see. Getting through some of this is making me feel like I will be able to survive no matter what.
Stopped to pick-up my mom on the way to the cabin and found my exhaust pipe dangling loosely below the truck! Just what I needed. I also have 2 car insurance billd due in the next 30 days. I may have to switch to paying by month or let the truck sit for a while without insurance. I probably won't need it over the winter anyway.
I rented the nicer house across from my friend. At least I will have a nice place to live. If it doesn't work out with my home, maybe I'll buy the place, but there is almost nothing moving these days. We stand to lose a pile of $.
Oh well, what can you do. Just have to go have some fun and try to forget about it.

You are the man! Way to go...
Most guys make the mistake of not taking much from the marital home....are you going to put you big boy pants on and divide things equally.....
I had to do it all through email exchanges..what a PIA...I left a lot, then got the hot tub at the end....50% of the kids stuff goes to your house.....
Figure out what you want, in what order, etc...Some things were easy..I worked from room to room...My office first...
I even let her have the brand new $1200 gas grill I bought...but $800 an hour for lawyers to argue it, I just got a new less expensive one at the new place...
