When my H was D'd the first time, he had his S every weekend, I mean every weekend...of course, that was pre-mlc.
I can already hear his excuses but I can be like his ex-wife...when I moved in with H (before we got married), his son was there whether H was there or not!
I am not having any expectations...especially since he hasn't called me back yet!

Yeah! I get to have some girl time with my friend!!!!
I finally called H back this morning since he didn't call me back like he said and asked...he said they'd pick them up early afternoon as they have to go to the big city...an then he said, well, I don't have to go!!! lol!
So excited! NO watchful eyes on me...it will be like unbuttoning tight pants after you eat too much!

Just got back a little bit ago and am totally beat...but in a good way! Ate too much, drank too much but had a lot of fun! Got to see some people I haven't seen for years...
My friend and I talked and talked! She does not think I am crazy for standing and was great to be able to talk about it!
She has been dating a guy for a year now...her H died from a brain anuerism (sorry about the spelling) 5yrs ago so it was nice to see her with someone! He is total opposite of how her H was...
Kids said they had an ok time. Their Dad and his OW left them alone last night as they had a party to go to...they didn't think that was too cool. OW gave D12 a bottle of perfume...ugh.
This weekend, even though my friend and I talked a lot about H and our situation...I have to say that when we were doing other stuff, H was totally out of my mind and I think that maybe I have come to the place of visualizing my life without him and seeing that it will be ok!

That is why we GAL! Just because we can see a life without them doesn't mean that we don't wish things had turned out differently. BUt being able to make our life independent of them reminds ourselves we don't NEED them, we WANT them. And that we CAN be happy without them.

Just had to journal about a dream I had about H this morning. I don't dream of him often and after the bom, most of my dreams involved OW making me look bad and taking over my life!
This one, H stops home for some reason and goes to leave but gets in my truck instead of the vehicle he has been driving. He drives off and realizes that he took the wrong vehicle. turns around and comes back...somehow, you know how dreams are weird, I am in the truck's drivers seat, going to put it in the garage, and H is still in it. He leans over as if to kiss me, and I lean in, but we both pull back and don't kiss...it wasn't in a horrified way, just a we want to but no, not yet way!
