I was on a board where a mod started just this kind of thread & then finished the job. It might just be the internet--but it put a lot of good people through hell.

Yep... he lived in New Mexico (AZ maybe? wherever) He posted that he was ending it, said goodbye & thank you & logged off. He was found a couple of days later in a hotel in Mexico. Washed a fistfull of whatevers down with bottle of alcohol.

I will never forget how it effected so many people who had never even met him.
That and I've had two friends kill themselves. Three if you count the firefighter I used to work with.
Three times too many.
