LFW- I love to paint and that is something I can do. I have been waiting for H to put trim up in the bathroom that we remodeled 9 yrs ago! I actually have the trim and could probably get my brother to help me with that. The old garage needs a new roof so that will cost money! If S14's project car wasn't in there, I'd just have that tore down! Am sure there are more things!

CW-

Sounds like you have two projects that you can do yourself without much of an investment. So what is the hold up?

How steep is the roof on the garage? If it isn't that steep...then another job you can do. It may involve your brother and I would definitely involve S14 since his car is stored there...but it can be done. Two weekends, one side per weekend. Bonding experience for you and your son...priceless.

Taking control of your life is something you will find beyond fulfilling. These examples would be gal'ing and 180's to the max.

Think about it.

LFW- 2 words bout the garage roof...height and money! Also, the roof is basically rotted enough that I would want someone who knew what they were doing up there!

I am working on my bedroom right now, removing wallpaper and getting ready to paint....no hold up there!

LR-thanks for stopping by! I hope you don't forget about me!

CW-

Then that knocks out the garage roof. Some are low and not that hard to redo....but if it is high and steep, then best let the pro's do it.

Good job on the bedroom. I think you will end up enjoying the change in scenery more than you envision at the moment.

I am scared of heights LFW! But it is pretty rotted...someone could fall thru! And yes sir, I agree the change of scenery will be nice in the bedroom! I can actually open the curtains during the day now since H isn't in there sleeping!!! Now, if we could just get some warm weather so I could open up a window!

This is a different thread that works. If any of these people have posted like J3B for instance or LFW click on their name and scroll down to view posts.

The red names are taking you to the archives and you have to figure out the time frame to search for them. It is very difficult to do!
