Hi Maria,

I am glad that you are getting the reassurances that you need from him. You will see, your insecurity will dissipate over time. It takes reassurance, but you know commitment when you see it, just like you know the opposite!

It's all sounding very good K, and heading in a better direction all the time!

>>>@Kalni-"I started talking. I kept it under control."

Feels good to manage emotions successfully, doesn't it? I'm just now starting to get the hang of it.

Nice job on creating intimacy by sharing & "putting yourself out there."

L,

Sunny

Hi guys, when I see your posts in the morning, I still get the fuzzy feelings inside: gratitude, love, affection, admiration... Thank you my friends. It has been such a strange road to ...here, being able to vent only was/is...priceless all these years.

This morning, I left coffee and a toast on the kicthen table for him with a note Good morning.

It may sound not a big deal but when you get 2 kids ready for school and with max 5 hours sleep everyday, it IS a big deal for me to allocate 2 minutes to do that for him, especially since he sleeps as long as he wants most of the days...

He called to say thank you.

I think he is committed. I am just not sure if the committment is a general idea in his head or something he now knows how to live by/safeguard/prove etc etc...

I got a nice Breil watch yesterday. And used that self tan spray again to make my zebra lines less visible... "No streaks" my @ss!!!!

That stuff does lie doesn't it? grin

You are building your R with your H into what you want it to be now. Letting go of the past is the important first step to a healthy future. I'm so happy for you K. You are headed toward the ultimate reinvention of your M. AWESOME!

An idea......when H is packing for his trip, place a few strategic things in his baggage so when he unpacks it he is immediately reminded of you.

1)a pair of lacy panties sprayed with your perfume.
2)tuck notes inside his shave kit, in his shoes, stuffed in his socks.
3)wrap a few of his favorite snacks and tuck them in corners of his bag.
4)Use a plain white sheet of paper, put on your favorite lipstick and kiss it....over and over and over. Put it in his carry on in some of his paperwork you know he will access frequently.

Just some thoughts.
