I've kind of backed off checking match.com for a while as the current lady I am seeing is very interesting to me (ie chemistry, conversation, philosophy). After 6 dates, I feel like a doofus in that I have yet to attempt a kiss. Last night, after a nice dinner with her, all I could get the courage to do as we were saying goodbye in my driveway was a hug. And she made it a tight hug with a press of her check against mine. Why am I such a chicken sh!t when it comes to doing that first kiss?

Kerry, if (when) she does that again, give a peck on the cheek... see where she takes that!

Kerry you better hurry up with that or you will be tossed into the friend pile! In general I don't kiss on the first date but on the second one, I need to know if it is going to progress. I am with Bobbijo, a bad kisser isn't going to be hanging around! lol

LOL, Kerry, you better kiss her soon. She is probably posting on a forum for dating right now, about the nice guy who wont kiss her. And you know what the guys on the forum say? "Are you sure he is into women?" LOLOL

after 6 dates you should be checking to see if she still has her tonsils...

By six dates if a guy hasn't kissed me I would be wondering what is up. I am all for a gentleman, but just cause I don't want to sleep with your right off the bat doesn't mean I don't want to be kissed!!

Hmmm....if I wind up finding a kissable guy can't I just go ahead and kiss him??? If he makes me wait six dates I would explode..........

I forgot the name of the Will Smith movie a few years ago where he was basically a love doctor. His advice on the goodnight kiss was to move 90 percent of the way and see if she comes the last 10 percent.

Now, I know it's only a movie, but I'm wondering if it'll work when I'm officially single and have an opportunity.
