True - Thanks Man. I know it all ME.

Mila - Wife is okay with "joint custody". What she will not agree to is having the kids live with me 50% of the time. Yes at a certain age the kids can determine who they will live with. My two older boys (16 & 14) will have some say in the matter; however, I would rather that neither of us but them in a position to choose. The hard part of this is feeling (which I know is temporary) that she is using the kids for financial purposes. In CT, the court will usually not separate the kids, so if one of the boys decides to want to stay home then all three will probably follow suit. Only God knows what will happen so I leave it up to Him and continue to be the great dad that I KNOW I am. Oh...and yes I am a sensative man. As I have stripped away the insecurities, masks, fear...I have really opened up. I have opened up to the world. Damn I like myself now.

Diamond - thanks for following - thanks.

All -

Feeling okay today. W continues to be "pleasent", as do I. I am trying to GAL but the reality is that my life really revolves around the kids these days and to be honest I REALLY love being this sort of "single parent". Here is what my days are like (for those who care to know).

6:00 AM - wake up make breakfast for the boys
6:30 AM - Drop the boys down the block to pick up the bus for school.
7:00 AM - Wake up D and pull out her cloths (I am actually getting much better at this - I used to send her to school is 6 different colors :))
7:30 AM - Shower & dress
8:30 AM - Take D to school and head to work
Noon - go home for lunch and pick up the house or start laundry back to work
5:30 PM - leave work and head home to cook dinner
7:00 PM - take boys to gym with D and then head back home
8:00 PM - Get D to take a shower and do homework
9:00 PM - Pick up boys from the gym and then back home to clean up again.
10 PM - Laundry, reading or on the phone with friends.
11 PM - Bed

I know it is kinda of boring but I have to tell you I really do love doing this stuff. Although I am on this path of growth and healing I will say one of the biggest benefits (yes I said benefits) of this process has been the relationship that I have established with my kids. I was always a good dad - I like to think I'm a "great dad" know. The development and growth of the R with the kids has been the biggest blessing I could have asked for. This is why I will FIGHT to have them 50% of the time. This is who I am.....One heck of a DAD.

God Bless,
Eric

You go Eric! This is not boring because taking care of your family (you included) is the most important thing someone can do. Your kids are blessed to have you!
