Interesting text you got from the ex. My 14th anniversary is in two weeks and a friend of mine in Chicago got Cubs tickets for that day. So I'm going to be nowhere near here.

I do wonder if STBXW will acknowledge the anniversary at all. I was in Florida with the girls two weeks ago on my birthday and didn't get a call or text from STBXW.

When I got back I got mail from my attorney indicating she was busy that day. She was meeting with her L to sign some divorce documents.

I thought that was lovely.

STBXW's birthday this year is on Labor Day. Last year I offered to let her have the kids on that day and she didn't want them. She'd made plans to go drinking for the day.

This year I'm going to do something -- head to Chicago or Madison or maybe Minnesota, shoot even Vegas depending on the settlement. I'm doing something so she has the kids and I'm no where near here.

*big old sigh* It's annoying when they send you stuff like that. I remember when I went to drop off something at the house, my XH leaned out of the window and said - Oh our D came through yesterday. You should be happy now!

I was mortified! Burst into tears and I so wish I hadn't done that in front of him, but then again maybe...who knows, it was a long time ago now.

It's all a tit for tat game when people are hurting - we really aren't that clever when it comes to conflict...silly humans

I will proudly own happy anniversary to a day I was stupid 12 years ago, but am so much smarter today day I am going to do something tonite, haven't yet decided what. I have a couple different options...I just know I am kidless, and going to do something FUN!!!!!
No test results really, a couple that I didnt like, but can't change, will have to decide which road to take on them, but figure I will wait til I have them all back.
Its raining and cold here.....BLAH!

Not sure my weekend either except I MUST get out there and run!!! That half marathon is sneaking up on me...also I vow to see blank/clear countertops in my kitchen and bathroom by Sunday....time to clutter bust!

Surely you can think of more fun options for yourself than I have set out for me!

welllll BBJ, actually I am gonna go home and do some mad crazy cleaning, and de cluttering, cause it needs to be, and I actually feel like doing it today--then figure out what I am gonna do.....had an interesting option come up, but have to think about it lol. BUT straightenin will be great if I take that option tee hee

Just kiddin'. Yeah I am planning on cleaning my house pretty well and getting my bedroom all nice and classy-like in case I have some company one of these days........... I'm thinking piles of my kids' school papers is not a come-hither look.......

OMG I hadnt even THOUGHT about wth my bedroom looks like!! oh well, lol.......I need like an extreme makeover for that room! I cant do anything real crazy have to be up at the college in the morning first thing to officially sign my daughter in....

Well I made it through the weekend! Friday I went home from work, drank a couple beers and tackled yard work....then relaxed with a couple friends, J stopped by for a bit, as he was gonna be out of town all weekend...there really wasnt time to think about it would have been B and mine anniversary.
Sat first thing, enrolled D17 in college, 28 credit hours, majoring in Sports training/physical education. YAY! proceeded onto Prom duties, hair make up, you know the works. She looked amazing!! She had let B know what time they were meeting in town for pictures, as he made such a big deal about getting some, he was mad she wouldnt go there (there was not ANY time for that seriously, she held the whole group up as it was from running late at the hair shop) and why couldnt he walk 75 yards over to take pics? he didnt. His loss. (since then she and i have both been yelled at because we didnt go to him, mind you I had to go two places to get her pics, didnt mind, shes my girl, her last prom) went back home, went and started rearranging my garage....MY GARAGE lol...that was actually fun! going to make one side of it a game area. Then got to talk to a dear friend, til the way wee hours of the morning.
Up a few hours later, for what was supposed to be a few hours of shopping with my mom and pregnant sister....try 7! My mother and daughters secretly decided I needed some massive wardrobe adjustments.......and she was buying, and I could only get things she approved of....that was intensely hard, as pink was required (I swear I broke out and itched from that pink tank top... I dont see how women shop like that..I was BEAT! they made me get a new purse and some kinda fancy flip flops....My little sis rescued me tho, she had me over last nite to go thru her clothes, lol, and totally hooked me up with a huge trash bag full of cute yet me summer stuff lol!
I dont know why mom is so obsessed with turning me into a girly girl, you would think she would give up after 37 years. I am just me!
I have decided that I am just fine with me. well pretty much, I totally miss my long hair, that I am ready for it to grow back out. I teeter totter on the whole dating thing. Its so different now than years ago when i did it, and now it seems everyone has a different opinion as to what dating is. I have a couple single girlfriends here, we almost took a pack to just stay single lol! Its amazing actually when you sit back and observe people...I work in a mechanics shop, so I am surrounded by men 55 hours a week.....do you know how many I see without wedding rings on who are married? how many massively flirt (we have a large women clientale too--mind you I work the computer, and so many times, there it is, the spouses name. I just think we should make singles town, where you have to PROVE you are single to be able to live there lol!
