Kat--coming right up

Shocked---we can mix up anything but a nice whiskey on the rocks for me sounds good!

Thanks! I always find it a little odd when I see those drive-up windows at liquor stores.

So how are you doing today??

I am kinda just _____. Good seems to be stretching it but I am not devastated either--the sun came up today, my boss still wants things done, little guy still woke up at 5:30! The world did not end!!

Funny--i feel like I should post a little synopsis of what happened and "introduce" myself here but I just don't feel like going there anymore much-I will work on it

Sorry for the long answer, for to long my IRL answer has been "fine" I am kinda tired of that!

Hey that's why I asked. For a year people I ran into would ask how I was, I would say fine, and now I see them and say, "Oh, actually we are D'd," bc they always ask about my exH. No one realized what I was going through bc I didn't want to open that can of worms when someone stops you in the store and asks how it's going! wink

I was trying to find a smiley on here that was neither a smile nor a frown, just a straight line. For days when I just feel "neutral"....not super happy, not sad, just sort of, here...

The weekend is on the way! What does that bring for you?

I think it takes a while to get to feeling good. there will be a mixture just like normal. That is maybe the key word, normal. It took a long time to get to normal and even a tad longer to feeling pretty good.

Everyone gets there in their own time. No need to feel rushed. We are here when you need us.

Thanks ladies! Looking forward to the weekend, but even more so to Monday as a certain baseball team has there home opener and it is a national---or at least a "local" holiday. So we all play hooky from work and make a day out of it.

as for serious stuff--i hear you Kat-some days are good some not so good and eventually I feel like I will be getting off of the "rollercoaster" alltogether, and that will be great

right in the middle of it I live in STL and have had season tickets since we were little kids. Huge baseball fan, I played thru college and my dad and grandpa actually played professionally for awhile.

Hey Buffet,

I am coming on over here too so I'm about to start my own thread. Nice to meet you! I am in the mood for mexican food today for some reason so I will order up a frozen margarita.

Oh, you suck!!! I have lived in STL twice (actually in Illinois, once in Troy and once in Columbia both within 30 min of the city)....love me some Cards! First time we lived there Big Mac was in the home run chase, went to lots of games. Second time was 2000-2002 and I got to watch my man Pujols in action.

My ex's grandpa and his brothers (all 5) played in the Cardinal's farm league...

I am so jealous!!!! I may have to come down for a game...when I lived in Kansas City for 3 years Fox Sports Midwest blacked out all their games so I was deprived... smile
