My morning interview went good. It will come down to between me and one other guy.
The afternoon interview went from interviewing for one job to interviewing for 3 jobs. There are a lot of openings at the company apparently. So in all, I had 4 interviews yesterday. I'm not sure how the afternoon interviews went other than one liked me and it was hard to get a read on the other 2. Funny thing with the first afternoon interview, the first question I got asked was to tell her something fun about myself. I thought for a second and then started talking about how I had been learning some west coast swing which was different for me. I went on to talk about that. Then we talked about my resume after. It went pretty well.
W informed me she is heading to san antonio today through Sunday. I started noticing a trend here. She headed out of town for our anniversary, then my birthday, and now valentines day.
Today my girls are out of school due to the snow here in dallas. So I plan on applying for a few more jobs and then spending the afternoon with them.

Drew, to answer your question, I don't know if I have been at peace or not, but I have been busy focusing on getting a job and spending time with my girls.
W does know that I am out of a job. I finally had to break it to her when she kept asking me for my work # so she could call me from work since she was having cell phone issues and asking me if I was going in the office yesterday after I had kept D8 home from school on Wednesday since she was sick. I explained that she had enough on her plate with her being out of a job that I did not want her having to worry about me also. I told her I have money in savings and am going on job interviews and am making my bills. She seemed fine with the answer and offered to send me some contacts that she had made to help me further my job search.
Last night after she dropped off the girls to me, she started heading out and said back love yall, to which I knew she meant the girls and I replied we love you to and shut the door behind her.
I took the girls out for a drive in the snow around the neighborhood last night. It was pretty. Of course we drove very slowly on the road as I was not interested in an accident. But hey, don't get snow like this very often in Dallas.
I decided I will leave Tulips and a card on W's kitchen table for her with the card saying a simple "appreciating you on this day" and signed by me and the girls for her to have when she returns home Sunday night. Tulips are her favorite flowers.

Got a call from the company that I had 3 interviews with yesterday. The one guy I wasn't sure how the interview went with is the one that extended me an offer. It is a permanent position with benefits making 18k more a year than in my last position.
I can't believe it. I am so thrilled. Thank you God. They want me to start March 1st.
