Well, since I'm not spending Sunday w/ S16, I'm also in search of a good SAINTS party. Goldey weakly shaking one pom-pom, half heartedly.

Match is kinda going. I am getting more picky. I did have a contact yesterday that sounds interesting, so we will see.

The younger kids skipped school today and went to Flagstaff to go skiing and see their brother. The youngest has a soccer tourney in Phoenix Saturday and Sunday. Depending on their success they will either be home well before the game, of just about in time. So I need to lay in a supply of food, using the term loosely!

I can't decide who to cheer for. I still think of the Colts as sneaking out of Baltimore in the middle of the night... but they have training camp at my college... and I like the way they play. But New Orleans winning would be a really wonderful thing. I guess I might be satisfied either way. I think it will be one of those games where I don't know who I'm rooting for until the game is underway!

Goldey, no pity party allowed!

Well, that was a pretty good game. I think no turnovers by the Saints was the key, in the end. I feel really happy for the city of New Orleans!

I had a pretty good weekend, but I wish it had another day! I went golfing (badly) yesterday afternoon. On the way home I treated myself to dinner, then picked up super bowl supplies... a pizza, wings, chips, dip, salsa, soda, and a veggie tray. I got home about 7:30, it was halftime of the Arizona basketball game (which went poorly, in my opinion.) Anyway, I decided that I was fed up with the state of the kitchen. S21 had sort of cleaned up his latest mess, but had not done a great job of it. He's been working way too much, and isn't really interested in doing what needs to be done. We are going to have to have a meeting of the minds on that, but anyway..... I started working on the kitchen during breaks in the game, and then through a pretty good show on the breaking of the color barrier in pro golf. By the time I was done it was only about 11, the dishwasher was run and emptied, there wasn't a thing on the counters or in the sinks, and it was cleaner than it has been in months. Though I stopped short of mopping the floor! I slept in a little, then cleared off the bar between the kitchen and family room, and started in on the family room! There's a section that S21 has set up with his computer and more junk, I didn't try to clean that, but I did the majority of it, and it looked pretty good when I was done.

S12's soccer team did well in their tourney, but missed out on playing in the final by a goal, so they were done playing about ten or so. They stopped at Ikea (there is one up there, but none done here), and headed for home. A little after two they called, and said the interstate was way backed up. It turned out that there was a hostage situation, or at least something that seemed like it (not sure yet) and had the road closed both ways for a couple hours. I Mapquested, and figured out a way around it, but they didn't get here until about an hour into the Super Bowl. I was recording it, so the boys and I timeshited the game. We had a good time, ate bad food, and enjoyed the game. Then I took S15 back to his mom's, S12 is staying here tonight.

I wrote back to the latest Match contact Thursday evening, and have not heard anything back. So that's a clue on that one!

Hi,

I am WOM and I am new to this area of the site. I would like to ask you a favor. I am trying to build a support gruop and make some friends. I have been reading your posts. Honestly it feels kinda intrusive writing this, but I felt I should take a shot, I hope you understand. Many months ago I was in the newcomers area constantly and was fortunate enough to gain some grain advice from some great individuals. Unfortunately, I had to leave this site to take care of the ugly aspects of my life right now. In doing so I lost touch with some very insitefull people. So my favor is to ask you how to get in touch with them to reconect and how to make new connections as well. I have seen 25yearsmarc in particular post on your thread, I was being helped by puppy.

I hope I have not overstepped my bounds by pirating you thread. If so, please let me know, I wouldn't want to breach anyone protocal or overstep my bounds.

Jeez, Jeff...will 'ya quit poking me?
The pity party came and went. Thursday was such an awful, awful day for Goldey.
Sunday, different story.
Taking it one day at a time. Kinda like your golf game.
