Apples to Apples is great. Last time I checked, they have a version for younger than 8 and one for ~8-12 too.

Oh, I totally forgot about Uno - we have the High School Musical version.

When I was a kid, home made rubber band guns were what kept us entertained in doors.

LOL- CHILL Boys! A Dad who can appreciate HighSchool Musical on behalf of is kids is quite impressive! Besides, its only the pictures on the Uno cards(we ha e Harry Potter)...It's another thing altogether if Kerry had High School Musical Karaoke(the one we have is knd of lame)!

How about Risk for older kids (D14's favorite), Stratego for the younger crowd...? My kids loved Apples to Apples, especially a few years ago.

Oh-another fave is Rummikub..like Rummy but with number tiles instead of cards.

We've never taken the time to figure out the proper way to play Stratego. And in our house it's Star Wars Stratego so I'm keepin' my man card!!! :P

Is there a proper way?
BTW...I've heard of "man cards" but are there "woman cards?" Just wondering... :-)
