Hi everyone and MichelleLT - I've read your thread off and on. I'm anxiously awaiting a settlement conference tomorrow with H. I'll probably be D sometime in Feb. - THREE YEARS after H moved out.

H tried to push it through quickly and split everything even steven and stay "friends". I was the one to say hold on buddy - abandonment/adultery? Then he slowed way down and practically disappeared.

I'm glad it took this long. I was not ready but now yes, the trigger needs to be pulled.

I'll probably join this forum in a few months!

I pushed XH to finish it when I was ready to pull the trigger. Just about completely detached. And ready to close the door. I can't imagine giving him another chance now, but I feel like I did everything I could before I went through with the D.

It feels good to have tried.

I tried too and feel good about it. H never asked for another chance. If he did now I think my first response might be - oh, you're kidding me right? Well, I'll think about it and get back to you.

Well, I survived a pretty gruelling drill weekend. We ran an exercise that required 24 hr operations. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep. A couple hours here and there. But everything went pretty well.

Crashed pretty early last night. Will be catching up on sleep for a while.

Going to do the final walk-through of the house tonight and will be getting loan all signed on Thursday!

Good God! 24hr ops are no fun at all. Glad you powered through it.

I will probably wait til Feb 5th to move. Try and see how many people I can rope into helping on a nice Saturday.

My roommate is still looking at moving out of state. She will not be moving with me. Regardless, I will pay her for February so she has some wiggle room to make a decision. And that way I won't be too rushed either.

Eeeeek! The mortgage people will be here in 15 minutes for me to sign stuff! So nervous!
