I don't usually post to you but this caught my eye.

I could not agree more about not being there for the pick up.

They want you there for the dramatics.

It gives them control and power.

I left my ex's stuff out on the driveway.

I literally saw him pull up, look around for me, and leave.

He later contacted me and told me he would have to set it up for another day.

He did the same thing a week later. He never picked anything up. 2 years later....nothing.

You already KNOW what I think....

Darling W,

There was a terrible accident, the cats were playing with matches, and well, I got the hose out, but it was too late. I put the cat tree in the driveway like they do around Prom time with the car. If just ONE other cat can learn from this, then all is well.

I have placed a warning label about playing with fire for all the cats in the neighborhood to see.

Good news though ! At least you won't need a truck today. Oh and please place my broom and dustpan on the porch when you leave.

Have a great day !!!!

Love Jimbo

Truly funny but would you want her to do that to your stuff?

Dear Idiot Boy,

See? This is what happens when you leave matches just lying around. This is so typical of you! You couldn't even get the hose out in time to save the cat tree. I bet you're lying. I bet that you didn't even pay the water bill and COULDN'T put out the fire. This is SO typical. Now every cat in the neighborhood is rubbing up against the charred remains of the cat tree, getting black streaks in their fur, and looking up at me and mumbling something that sounds like "I can has cheezburger?". Where the HELL am I going to get 93 cheeseburgers????? This is ALL YOUR FAULT!!!

You did it on purpose, didn't you? I'll bet you thought I wouldn't take it if you let them "accidentally" burn it down! Well, I'll show you, you big so-and-so! I had my poor arthritic father load what's left of it onto the back of his truck, just to show YOU! You think you own me? You think you can tell me what to do? HA!

I hope you are doing well.

Dear W,

I hope this letter finds you in need of a new cat tree. I talked to your poor arthritic father about it the other day, and he hoped the remains would blow off the back of his truck and into your winshield on the way to your new "bachelorette" pad. That way he wouldn't have to carry it up fourteen flights of stairs for you.

And just for the record, I couldn't use the hose on it because you snuck in and took that too. I tried pi$$ing on it, but I hadn't drunk enough beer yet to do so. Please either forgive me or leave me money for beer.

Just because I gave the cats the matches, doesn't mean it was on purpose. They expressed interest in wanting to be free of all cat responsibilities to find themselves. They said they only have nine lives, and they didn't want to spend them all unhappy. They tried to ditch everything that was good in their lives to find answers. I think they may have hooked up with another group of cats seeking answers fairly close to your new place.

You may pass by them on your answer seeking journey as well.

I hope you are well too .

Love Idiot Boy

PS, did you happen to see the nail clippers while you were going through my things when I was at work ?
