Gardener,

Just trying a little humor. God knows, I could use it.

I am looking forward to 2010. Things will get better, much better.

I'm glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel Gardener. It sounds like you have a good plan for the new year, and I hope the mediation and house sale go according to your wishes.
Hugs, Bunny

Huh! That's extremely shortsighted my friend.
It will be the start of the Gman decade! All the best for you in the new decade.

I love it G! A new decade begins a new G-man, along with so many other new beginnings that I see here on this Forum...

I dunno.
Just...sad today.
Can't put my finger on it. Nothing particularly on my mind.
Just kinda sad.

B/c you've been burning it at both ends and now have too much time on your hands. Get busy! Brisk walk outside? Turn on some music - something that doesn't remind you of your W. Hey, do you have a dog? What about going to your local animal shelter and giving the gift of a home to one of those guys?

Hi Gardener! You may be feeling the "let down" from after the holiday build-up. It's very common.....and normal. Be your own best friend.

What's the weather like where you live? Are you able to do any of your favorite things (beside garden stuff grin )?
Hope you'll stay busy and I bet you'll beat these blues. You are a good man, Gardener, and you help a lot of folks around here.

It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!

That's it gima. Am cleaning the house top to bottom, though, for showing tomorrow, so I am busy.

Thanks, Sandi. You, too have nailed it: post-Christmas blues to some extent.

I try to, but as my own un-Busted D Day approaches, whenever I try to support someone here, I think of that adage: "Those that can't do, teach." (joke: apologies to all teachers.)

Thanks, mo3. So are you. Funny how some days (like today) I feel more loved here than almost anywhere else.

It did! laugh cry laugh Marry me, Serenity. Uh, oh: I already proposed to Greek this morning whistle

And now I know what began this funk. Today as I cleaned house-for-sale, I had ipod blasting on shuffle. For months, I would skip past songs that were favorites of - or poignant to - Mrs. G. and I. Today, I said screw it, it's just music. Time to get over and past it. I did fine. Except for one.

Right before he died, John Lennon wrote his last song and recorded it on a small tape recorder atop his piano - first take. Based on a Robert Browning poem, it was later arranged and sung absolutely beautifully by our favorite singer-songwriter, Mary Chapin Carpenter on a John Lennon Tribute cd. It was one of our absolute favorites. Heard it today. Cried. Still beautiful, but as one of "our" songs, now it's just complete bullsh!t. I do feel better having back-tracked the beginning of this funk, though.

And, Lord knows I feel much better after hearing from you, my friends.

Hope I don't make you guys cry with this!

Thank you. Sometimes you guys charge right in just like the cavalry!
