Oh, it helped that I got a great new haircut last week and that I have been getting non stop compliments. I remind myself that I am fabulous and desirable, never rejected and unwanted. I have been dressing differently for the entire holiday season. A bit more daring and body conscious but as I said to Mindfull, always tastefully. These little things have given me a huge boost of confidence at a time when I could have been very low. Half the battle is in the mind!
I am determined to try new things and get passionate about life.
Forgot to mention that I was rocking some killer shoes today and I literally mean killer because I had to take them off in the car and cry a little in relief on my way home. LOL!!! Vanity ain't pretty ladies! I need a soothing foot bath like now!!!
I used to be a flats kinda girl and now I remeber why!!!
I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry and Blessed Christmas. It will start to get truly busy for yours truly from today, so I want to get my wishes in early.
To all on the Board, new and old, may the peace of God be with you. I just want to send a special shout out to my very special peeps who have helped me through 2009. If your name is not here, no offence but these are the people I have followed closely and who have posted words of wisdom that really resonated with me.

Oh, it is a bit like the Academy awards and I am sure there are loads of names I should have mentionned but will immediately remember once I log off.
God bless each and everyone of you for taking so much time to invest in other's lives and to really help hurting people. Angels do come in many forms. (Where did I put that box of Kleenex?)
This is my first Christmas w/o my H in 15 years!!! WOW!! But it will be a good Christmas as I focus on the reason for the season and as I remember to lean not on my own understanding but to trust in God. As I rely on God's timing and not ego timing. As I embrace whatever He has in store for me because its gonna be good!!!
OK. Gotta go... big party tonight and Kara is going to spend the day getting her nails, hair and everything DID as they say. Cause if you don't look like the bomb why bother??? (Yes, I am 50% shallow, so what??)
I'd like to thank the Academy for this award, it's truly an honor just to have my name mentioned along with all these other great people here tonight.....

Merry Christmas Kara, you go get your hair, nails, and everything else done, I think your new years resolution may be to do this stuff regularly, I wouldn't think your shallow because of it, taking care of yourself and making YOURSELF feel good is just good common sense.
