Ok, I jumped and landed on eharmony. I had tried Match.com and Chemistry .com but always seemed to attract the guys old enough to be my Dad. eharmony isn't looking much better. Oh I really hope it gets better.

Kat, weird. Guess where I just was? I started filling out the questionnaire. I think it's 100 pages or something though, so I'll have to finish it up later. I love their commercials though!

The idea of wasting that money...at least it was their half price special. They told me about it yesterday but it ended today. I told you I would do it the next time so I did. I am not really sure that this will be much better than the other sites. Oh except they are matching me up with the creepy guys. Great!!

Sales are good! Lol.

I never thought about signing up for eHarmony. Knew way too many people who'd been rejected from there lol.

So I get matched with a guy that sounds promising then I look at his photos(which you can't do until you pay). There are a couple of photos with other women. They could be anyone...you just never know, but your mind hops to ex someone. Then he posts a picture of himself standing by a "jerky" sign but he is blocking off the y. So interesting to call yourself a jerk! Apparently the 29 points of compatibility doesn't pick this up.

Cute commercials, cute people. None of them appear to be living here and if they were they probably wouldn't be using a dating site. Disappointed thus far but I have 3 months to try it out. crazy

Good luck Kat...I already give free advice to BBJ on on-line dating. I will keep an eye on you as well....if you don't mind of course. I'll give you the male perspective.

I would gladly accept any help I could get! Yes, I know what I want and don't want to settle or lower them just to date someone. It probably doesn't help that I am fairly serious in person. Maybe that is why I attract the 60'something guys...they are only 20 years off!

Okay I've got an interesting story to add about the dating sites. I've got a profile on POF...it's free so what have you got to lose? I've had some "interesting" ones contact me, lol. This weekend I had someone message me and tell me they thought they knew me and asked me my first name. I was thinking sure...you know me. He was nice looking and had a nice profile so I thought what the heck? So I messaged back and told him my first name. To make a long story short, he was someone I had dated on and off in high school and college. I know it sounds weird that I didn't recognize him, but it has been over 25 years since I've seen him. He ended up calling me and we talked over two hours about old times. He is still quite handsome! He always had a great head of hair and still does! Time has been kind to him, lots of hair and no gray! Wish I could say the same about the gray...thank goodness for Lady Clairol....lol.
