I heard the news this morning about the dangerous wind chill in you area. Yikes. We have a freezing spell going on here in the NW. It is not even winter yet.

Yep it is not above zero yet with wind chill around -18.

My mom went home at 2:30 am, they wanted to keep her but she is stubborn. My sis is an RN and she said they were very concerned. No clot but she had basically zero air movement in one of her lungs when she got there. Don't know what will happen next...

Praying for you sweetie. I'm so sorry your mom is having all of these problems. Hopefully you will be able to see her this weekend.

Having zero movement in one lung is pretty bad. Has any of the fluid from the pneumonia drained?

I am sorry to hear about your Mom. My Dad has COPD and it is scary at times. She is in my prayers.

My mom is doing better, still at home vs. in the hospital so that's good! On lots of meds though and an inhaler...

Artist guy asked me out after a couple more emails. I googled him and found some of his animations. Apparently he has been up for a Star Wars animation award a couple times. A big deal b/c the finalists are all viewed by George Lucas himself!

He doesn't do the voices, he does the animation and writing. But the regular dog's voice cracks me up!

Anyway all is well around here so far. I am meeting the attorey next week to do the settlement now...

Oh and college musician friend texted me last night and asked me out for tonight. I told him I had plans. I am supposed to make cookies with the kids, but I didn't say that, just said I had plans. I am not a game player, but if you haven't spoken to me in a week and then when you do it is for a date the next day, I think that is a little abrupt...fine if we had talked at some point during the week. Maybe I overthink...but anyway I did have plans!
