And now Gardener pulls an "all-nighter" for the first time in years. Left at 6:00, got home @ 10:30 AND: I have about an hour or so of paperwork to do for Mediator for tomorrow.
And after two months of keeping this entire place in a constant state of immaculate, spotless real-estate-showing-ready condition, I've let it go all to hell during the past week of long winter gig hours. I'm talking about rooms that are almost hard to walk through! Looks like someone lobbed some laundry, kitchen and bedroom hand grenades into Gardener abode!
And, I got an email tonight that there will be two showings tomorrow morning!! Time to go get the broom, vacuum and maybe shovel and leaf-blower and get to work!
Bye.

Well, as promised, I tried to do some much-overdue catching up tonight, But as I chimed in on the last two or three making and correcting sloppy typos while squinting at screen with one eye closed I remembered: I didn't go to sleep last night! But the Gardener abode looked - and looks- spotless realtor-showing condition again.
Tore something in my right knee working today. And that's exactly what it feels like: a tear. Can't walk, excruciating pain but I decided that an ER visit on a Saturday night would be a lengthy, masochistic exercise. Will call a cab and go in the morning. Well. only one more traditional thing to do before I sign off.

And so many showings.. that must be a great feeling.
You're doing some serious snooping, driving hours to the therapist's home, tech toys and apps. At some point the 'need to know' turns into a bitter elixir that's increasingly toxic. Remember in Lord of the Rings, Gollum was once a really good guy until the One Ring came into him possession, possessing him.
She's gone. No amount of fact finding, intrusions into privacy will change that. It hurts you far worse in the long run. In fact those actions could turn your step children away from you.
How long do you need to slam your head on a brick wall to figure out it's not good for you?
As much as you hurt, drop the crap, let it go. Be the man who shines forth on this board.
You're worth it.
*hugs*
Or you can do it Puppy style. Have all the information in hand, slam her with it and make demands. Then again, it depends on what you actually know to make that work.
