yes, it is script. it doesn't mean it isn't true, tho. also doesn't mean that he didn't mean it at the time. you have to remember that your good memories are just as valid (or more so) as his re-written history. at some point in the future, all of this will settle into something that makes much more sense than it does when we're in the midst of it.
