The fact you got an interview is huge!!! In my area, they typically have several hundred applicants for each job, so just getting an interview is a huge compliment. I'm also a believer, that for some reason right now, it's probably better you don't get the job. If you're meant to get that job in the future, I know you will.

And do you have all your media stuff on your resume? Wondering if that might help. I know it impresses the heck out of me!!!

Karen, your probably right! It was a job in the city, and it was advertised all over the Northwest, so Im sure that there were lots of applicants. Im still pretty disappointed. But oh well. I went to the beach and I feel lots better now. Boy it was cold!

I havent put any of it in my resume. Im not sure how to include it I guess. I applied for a few more jobs tonight. So that helps me to be a little more optimistic

I guess it might be hard to put in your resume your press clippings. But the talk you're giving you should definitely list once you've done it. I typed up my X's resume and included his speaking stuff on it, in a separate section from the other stuff towards the end, forget what the heading was but I just googled a similar resume and got it from that. You went to the beach!!!???!!!!

Well yeah, it was really cold, but its where I go when I need a pick me up! And I have a big puffy coat and a nice gator that I can pull up over my face. With some nice sunglasses gloves and long underwear, I actually didnt have any skin exposed! And it helps you really appreciate the warmth when you get back indoors!

I went up to the next town today and it was -16 on the road heading up there! I cant beleive its soooo cold already!

I don't know how people handle the cold like that... of course I live in the south so I'm not used to it.

Layers DC, lots of layers. And nice big fat dogs to keep you warm! I have also recently discovered fleece sheets- my new best friends!

Just took some halibut out for dinner, I think that I need a reminder of why I think that living in this icebox is great!

Im getting ready to register for next semesters classes, but Im a little wary of doing so. Im not sure what I want to do. I know that if I dont hury it up and get registered everythings going to fill up! But I guess that I really want to move, and Im not sure of what I should be expecting over the next several months, maybe thats why.

Can I stop by for din if I bring some Mat-Su potatoes and berries?

How easy can you drop classes and get a full or partial refund? Might be a good idea to have those just lined up just in case. But I know...it's agonizing when these decisions get down to "right now".

Augh, I waited too long! My forensic psych class is full! That was the only one that I was definately wanted to take, oh well, its totally my fault! So I signed up for 3 other classes. None of them sound very fun. I wont actually pay for them until the first part of January, and I can drop with a full refund anytime before the 2nd class meeting.
