I am still hanging around ... keeping a low profile. No road trip for me...just a little down these days. You know, lack of sunlight and the end of golf season for us up here. This year the FLA. year end trip was cancelled. Montreal is a 5 hr. drive from Toronto. By the way, the Blue Jays just hired a new GM (young guy). Get this, he is an ex Montrealer of Greek origin!!! Nothing new to report on the homefront. D8 turns D9 tommorow wow does it go fast. Family gathering on Saturday night. Still hanging with NGF and she still thinks I am the best thing since sliced bread....then again XW also thought that a lifetime ago.
Hmm... yours is 'done' tomorrow, and Jeff's on Monday? I suppose since we got here at about the same time, that makes sense. We write up our settlement in 2 weeks.
Yep I read an article on the new GM. He wants to go old-school and rely more on scouting than statistics. So he almost doubled the number of scouts they had once he took over. He sounds like a cool guy, and young!!
I know you already had Thanksgiving, but ours is today. I am thankful for your friendship and support.
Well thanks to you Canadians, Dan is at work today... Apparently the Canadian plant he runs in Brooks, AB does not recognize our American holiday and needs his supervision!!
Et Voila! my D8 is now D9....Just got off the phone with her and the XW (I am now officially divorced.) I pick up D9 after school and I have a nice weekend planned....should be fun! So I guess I need to move out of seperated and into surviving the big D....from newcomers to seperated...to piecing ,,,,to seperated and now my final move....all the boxes are packed....but I can't get this silly Gloria Gaynor song out of my head:
First I was afraid I was petrified Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side But I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong I grew strong yada yada yada
