Everyone likes ham so I think that is the way I will go and then just buy a turkey breast to roast as without former in-laws around, no one cares for dark meat.

Go with the best of both worlds - stuff the turkey with a ham and call it "Pig Bird".

I am opposite - dark meat guy. White meat is too dry. My aunt who lived on a Turkey farm agrees.

Thanks for dropping by. When my oldest was 15 he came up to me and said, "Most of my friends don't have Dad's. I don't need one either!" It broke my heart to hear that. This was said while I was still trying to be a "go-between" so I tried to get H to see what he was doing to the kids and their way of thinking. He didn't get it then, doesn't get it now, who knows about the future.

The only one of the 4 that misses Daddy is D9. She was always asking me when he was coming home. I had to keep explaining it to her. The other 3 are totally aware of what has happened. It is sad that they lost their innocence three years ago because of this.

It hasn't helped at all that ex's Dad cheated on his Mom and tried to move the OW into their home when he was a kid. Both of his parents are total enablers because even though they can't believe he would do this(though they have the proof before their eyes) they won't say a word to him about the mess in fear that he won't come see them.

Have you never tried soaking it in brine? I saw it in the Parade insert in the paper several years ago and the turkey is soooo moist. We didn't have any leftovers!! So I when I was at work that weekend I bought a turkey dinner from the deli and it was terribly dry.

It is all in the prep. Give it a shot.

So it has been a few days. Nothing major going on just the weekend flying by way too fast as usual. I made a comment about that on my wall on FB and ex boyfriend from Senior year replies it is because I am having too much fun...like making love with ex. lol

That threw me off a bit but I just replied that I wouldn't know about the last part.

Is this just joking or hinting or what? I have been out of the loop for so long, I don't always know how to take these comments. I know he always wanted to sleep with me but we never did. I just don't get why someone would say that.

Yeah, really. So glad it isn't just me thinking that. I don't want to come off as a prude but that just threw me. Probably doesn't help that my ex right before my H, told me that he heard I became a bit of a wild thing when H and I started dating. I hate the idea that I was talked about, especially since I knew pretty quick that this is a guy I would marry.

Well we all know how that worked out, but that still bothers me. I am anything but easy.

Is he married or not? if single, I think it's a hint. Actually even if he's married, I think it's a suggestion or something. What you been up to?

He is divorced, lives about 4 hours away.

I have been reading a lot. Hung out with the boys this weekend, sad that KU football is in a funk but super excited that I am going to a basketball game tomorrow night. I am taking S14. It is only an exhibition but it is KU so who cares. Should be fun. As an added bonus, possibly, I might get to see flirt guy if he decides to take pictures of the game since we are playing the college in his town and KU is his alma mater.

He is still upset with me about something I said a few weeks ago so he may not even talk to me. We'll see.

Is he the one you went out to drinks with? If so, you just were in the friendship zone with him am I right?

Whatcha been reading? If he doesn't talk to you that seems like that would be pretty immature of him I think. Hope you have a great time!!!!
