Hi Shiny,

Here is a link to that thread in Newcomers if you have a chance to give them a better explaination on the Chemical Imbalance.

Hi there Shiny!

I haven't been by your place in a long time. Figured it was time for me to stop by and visit "old and faithful" friends.

I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling well. You lifted my spirits many days during the gall bladder phase, and I hope your friends here can do the same for you.

Hope you are feeling better soon, and you got that burst of energy you needed. Sometimes just hanging out and resting is good too though. Listen to your body.

I'll stop by to check on you and see how you are feeling. Hope the weather is still pretty there. See ya!

HI all!

Nice to hear from my regulars of course...and KAW and MAL too!!!

Reading your post, KAW I had to shake my head...guess I haven't been posting about my bunion problems of late...too many other complaints!!

Actually, I felt pretty good this morning, CJ drove me to work. Classes went well, did some shopping afterwards and then AGAIN hit the couch for 3 hours...

My kidney is sore today, low temp remains so I guess I'll just try to respect what my body seems to need right now. Although I'm pretty sure it wasn't begging for that cheese burger lunch/dinner ....And just so there's no misconceptions...we had a nice dinner of rice, sauteed Talapia filets (a very nice delicate white fish from Hawaii..how they get it up here fresh is beyond me) and green beans yesterday.

KAW kind of funny you mention the "last thread" thing...that's been on my mind of late. Not much more than updates on daily life here. I find more and more of my time spent on other's threads. And more and more the pull of "real life" (including three hour naps!).

Who knows if it's a phase or the natural weaning that takes place once piecing is well under way?

For now I'm still here ..boring details and all!!

OK Shiny,

I'm with Kitti here. You cannot leave us struggling here!

Who would tell me good morning and rain on my pity parties!

So no thoughts of leaving.

Did you make an appointment with the doctor? You didn't mention doing it in your boring details list.

Hi all!

Not going anywhere just yet!

HI Pam, no I haven't called Dr. yet but I have a good excuse. I run out of some meds that require a visit next week and my Dr. runs a same day appointment clinic. If I "booked" an appointment, I'd probably have to wait a month or more.

Well I managed to get through today with no naps!

Got a lot done, actually. Finished and printed out my four Intro Psych exams, and then picked, washed, microwaved and jarred my Tarragon, Oregano and Italian Parsley.

Grilled some chicken breasts (marinated in fresh herbs and garlic), Pasta with olive oil, parmesan and feta cheese, and a nice salad with the last of our cherry tomatoes. Yum!

It was another day in the 70's here and it looks good for the weekend...it's Thanksgiving here on Monday, big family dinner at my Sis's on Sunday (we always celebrate on Sunday to have a day off afterwards).

CJ headed out today and bought paint for one wall in our diningroom (jazz blue..dark and rich) and wall paper for the rest. It's reminiscent of the interior of European homes, a rough plaster kind of look.

He's going to work on that tommorow!...I guess my thread IS aptly named!

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do...first time I've found myself on page 2 since I joined this forum!

Good Afternoon Shiny,

I seem to recall from some previous posts that there might have been a time you weren't comfortable with CJ picking out the paint and wall paper or doing it without you around?

So much improvement!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm better today by the way.

I hope you feel better today and when we come to visit besides the wine you will cook dinner for us, right?

Hi all,

Of COURSE I'll cook for you Pam!!!

Is anyone else getting odd error messages at the top of their screen??

Classes went fine today, it's another gorgeous day here (in the 70's), and I came home to CJ wallpapering the diningroom.

Tunes are playing, sun is shining...if my feet weren't sore I'd be outside digging stuff up in prep for winter...oh well, the snow will cover it all up soon enough!

Yes, Pam I never even thought about how much I've loosened on the control stuff. CJ picked both the wallpaper and the paint colour. It helps that he has great taste!!

Is it too early for a glass of wine?

... and CJ doin' his Bob Villa impersonation!!!

Looks like you place is becoming "This Old House" with "Good Eats"!

P.S. Looks like the bb is having some technical difficulties while trying to post this.

Have a fun-filled weekend...

'til later,
KAW
