Cinders, I'm very happy to see that you are doing so well. Please take thing slowly.
I do hope that you and your children are doing well. How's the dog working out?
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
It is so nice of you to post to me on your thread, I appreciate it so much. I also thank you for your wishes. You too deserve every bit of happiness since you are such a gentle and lovely person.
Yes, (unfortunately) I am still out on the dating adventure. I am so happy for you that you found such a lovely person who you seem to like a lot. I find it so important that a relationship is harmonious. That's why I am still looking since I just couldn't imagine any of the guys I met to be "the one".
I guess you had another lovely week-end with your new man. Maybe it is not so bad that he lives so far away. Like this you will have some space as well and be able to do things on your own or with your kids. The two of you will also be able to get to know each other bit by bit which is much better than if one sees each other every day.
Of course, he is lucky that your kids are such lovely ones or else I guess he would have not come "near" you. I know from my XSIL that her boy whom she spoilt rotten was a big problem and the guys she met left her because of him.
I do hope for you that in time you all will be able to share a home if that's what you and your kids want.
I can imagine that sometimes you are scared to death because you don't want to be hurt again. But you are so right when you say that you can't love if you don't give your heart completely.
Thank you so much for dropping by...it means so much to me! I am certainly taking things slow. I guess the distance enables us to do that...but I also think my new man is a stable one and takes things slowly and thoughtfully... I guess I am the crazy one in this (hahaha)..No, really, we need to get to know each other, and hopefully it will work out. My motto here seems to be 'expect ANYTHING'.
The dog is doing very very well, he is still very happy and loves the kids!!!! He is gentle and loving and seems ever so greatful..and we love him to bits !!
I hope all is well with you and wish you all the very best !! xxx

Thank you so much for your kind and caring post...you too are a wonderful and caring person, and one day, I'm sure someone will be so lucky to have your love and attention !!!
I just wanted to let you know that my new man has not met the kids yet...(Yep, I'm taking it slow...) so I don't know if they will get along or not...I'll wait and see... For now, he is lovely towards me. Manly, kind, stable, attentive, complimentary and very sweet. I think I may loose my heart to him...but it does scare me a little I must admit !
Good luck on all your dating adventures, there is someone out there for you !!!!! And try to have fun in the meantime ! xxx
