Hey Bill. Since I am not into computer stuff, I'll stick with what I know and that is beds! I have a beautiful queen 4-poster in storage but is it worth it to have the king. And my H and I manage to cuddle in the middle and then break when we need to as well. I should have stated that he is 6'4" and I am 5'10" so a king doesn't seem so large to us.
Hey, for your snoring, CPAP works great. That is the mask system you are describing. In my old job, I worked with adults with respiratory diseases and many of them used CPAP at night. They found they were much less sleepy during the day as a result of getting a good night sleep without snoring interuptions or low oxygen interuptions. Their energy levels were up as well.
I would expect that they may have you undergo a sleep study to determine the cause of your snoring and how to best remedy it. If you have a deviated septum, surgery can help. If you are overwieght, losing weight can help. There are many solutions available just depending on the cause.
If your GP doesn't specialize in sleep medicine, ask for a referal to a pulmonologist certifed in sleep. Many pulmonary practices have sleep practices as well and can do everything for you.
Well, hope you are feeling better soon. I am so excited for you and your W. I hope to join your ranks soon!
Planning to move over to piecing soon as well.
Have a great day.

Personal journey, sounds like you've already made some big progress in this area. First thing is RECOGNIZING that you need it - and we know that you've hit that point!
Bill, just wanted to say that you're such a great person and you really have given all of us inspiration in various aspects of life. I've said it before but have to say it again: "YOU ROCK!!"
Keep that W happy and moving along w/progress and maybe Santa will have a nice treat under the tree for you at Christmas (ha ha!!) I can picture it now.........hmmmm..
I'm so excited for you. Yeah, how was that spa thing you had? Did it turn out quite relaxing or too "girly" for you? Tootles........
Bill, I had an idea. My H and I had a couple's massage the last time we went on vacation (SIL babysat). It is very relaxing massage and since it is done in the same room but by two different therapists it would not interfere with your W's space. It is like an individual full body massage but the two tables are side to side and you get to peek while the other undresses The therapists then enter the room and give each of you the massage and then leave. What you do when your relaxed selves get to your room is up to your level of relaxation

Thanks for all the great responses! I've been off for a few days, busy yes, and also mulling a lot of things over. I have a new thread, started today: DBing as a lifestyle
Totite, thanks for the info - I'm not overweight, but at 6'1" I'm still a big guy, so the king sounds nice, I must admit. I do get bad, bad headaches some of the time; when I get them, I wake up with them, and they last most of the day. If they're associated with snoring in some way (and W does say that I stop breathing sometimes) then I bet I'd feel a lot better most days. I'm planning to see the doctor this week - good reminder to make the call!
Karen - thanks for the PMA boost! You've been a rock for me through this journey, and I appreciate that.
Optimist - not a bad idea. W has actually suggested that we do one of these things together, and at the time I had a sort of "yeah, right" kind of reaction. My session was pretty nice, I've got to admit, so maybe I should do away with this "real men don't get pampered" thing and go have some fun with my W. Cause I do feel a little strange about it all - but I guess this whole thing is about challanging ourselves, isn't it? Yeah - I CHALLANGE myself to go get a massage.
