The weekend away was great - just what I needed!

But what happened during your weekend?

Still need to try some wide-legged trousers!

Saturday:

Local Soccer Tournament - S12 had two games, and S9 had two games, luckily all at the same complex. 2 wins and 2 losses. We then came home and moved S9 into D18's old room. It took us all night, as we were de-cluttering him as we moved... Made everyone dinner late, and went to sleep.

Sunday:

Local Soccer Tournament - S12 and S9 each only had one game. D18 was going to come watch them, but didn't show. "Long night, Mom." Nice. S9 had a birthday party later in the day, and S12, H and I went to a cookout at one of S12's friends homes. Fun party. Mom's in one section, kids out playing, H's in small groups chatting.

Monday:

We all decided to have a Labor Day party. Five families came. Lots of boating, cooking out, wave-runnering, etc... D18 blew in and out within 30 minutes (had errands to run, blahblahblah). She's something.

A few snarky comments over the weekend, but mostly all good. Funny, I've noticed that for about the last month of so, if he gives me a snarky comment or slight attitude, if I dish it right back at him, the mood/attitude quickly dissipates, OR he gives me a quick explanation (almost guilty response) to what caused it. Not sure if I'm doing what works, but at least it's ending it quicker! LOL

S12 has a football game today. H had to leave this am for the day, but will probably make it back for the game.

There has to be more to life than this.

Couldn't pull the shower curtain pull back this am, because when I got back from taking the boys to school, I went into the bathroom to talk to him while he was showering, and the door was locked. LOL He thought I was walking w/a friend (I thought I was, too!) and thought he was there alone, and the handyman might show up. Ummmmm ok?

The trouble with having an open mind is that people put things in it.

MB GOALS - UPDATE
--- Dinner and homework with my boys after practice every night in the kitchen - Sounds odd, but we've been so busy, and our schedules started out the school year chaotic again, that I feel like we're all living next to each other, not along with each other.

UPDATE AGAIN - Doing good w/this!

--- 1500 calories a day, MAX

DOING GOOD EXCEPT for our cookout yesterday... BACK on TRACK today, exercised, as well!

--- An exercise class @ least 4 times/week

DOING REALLY GOOD!

--- One salon treatment per week (:)) Next week it's micro-derm!

SCHEDULED for MICRO-DERM! Yea!

--- Reading on the hammock 2x/week

DOING GOOD! Reading Passionate Marriage

GOALS re: MARRIAGE
--- Continue the sllllloooooooow process of detaching.

DOING BAD... Cried/Sobbed in bed last night... quietly. This f'ing lack of interest sucks.

--- Show appreciation of the good in what we have.

DOING GOOD - Had a fun party yesterday, shared all of the watersports we have with friends!

--- Rock the new figure as it re-appears!

ROCKIN' WHAT I HAVE! THIS I am doing well with!

--- Have this weight off by mid-Sept, so I can see what kind of confidence unfolds. Then, f'n use it!

ON THE RIGHT PATH! DOWN 5!!!

Hi Mindfull

You certainly have your goals all worked out, I have mine in my head but have not yet written them down. Should do that, I think it makes them seem more achievable when you can look at them rather than just thinking about them.

Just FYI - I wrote mine down - signs, tho, not goals - and I find it's been an amazing help to my PMA. Funny you should be mentioning this now. I just updated mine over in my thread.
