And, getting dressed is a bit$h when you can only use one arm... Come to think of I had help with that, too... Bummer... wink

Alex... I played D1 tennis in my college days. My serve sucked because I would never toss high enough. Years and years of this caused a torn bicep, and a shoulder so loose they had to tighten it three times... (thought it was rotator cuff issues for years) I had the surgery five years ago, after a year of barely being able to lift my arm. It was (seriously) two months of pain recovering, but I have to tell you, I'd do it all again over and over. My shoulder is superb now! And, guess what? I've learned to toss the damn ball higher! Now to work on being able to hustle across the court to return a deuce court backhand. It's always something!

Good luck w/that. Make sure they give you the "ice machine," and you DO THE REHAB... not just until you feel good. Stretch Stretch Stretch!

That's funny... ironic funny, that is... I ruptured my bicep in 2005 (I loved the ice machine) and now, four years later, I need the surgery on my AC joint (I'm bone on bone and they need to shave it back 6-8mm, but warn me that they don't know what else they might find when they're in there)...

Okay...so getting that shoulder fixed should count...but it might not be so bad to be on your own - when I broke a couple ribs (post bomb and also while playing soccer) my STBX continued to insist that I not sleep in our bed - and I, being the dutiful husband, obliged, choosing to sleep on the floor of my study...just so that my S12 would not see me sleeping on the couch every morning. At least now, with my torn ACL, I can sleep comfortably in my own bed.

Dayum, bro-hamski! Whatcha do after I left you on the Avenue???

Sounds like that shoulder'll definitely earn you the Alaskan next breakie! I'll be back in Big Midwestern City for sure during the marathon, so I at least owe you until then.

LOL... I tripped and fell about a block from where I left you in the throes of real estate rapture. Good thing the kids pulled you away from that so you can buy on the next 25% drop... Didn't you hear the ambulance?

I'd like to think it's an old sports injury, but it's been bugging me since November. Four cortisone shots have done nothing, so I may bite the bullet and get it done sooner rather than later... Piling on for piling on's sake, you know...

I'll take you up on that, but you may have to cut it into bite size pieces for me... grin
