I'd be tempted to email back. Sure, whatever holidays you want this year is fine with me, but then we'll reverse it next year and I'll get those same holidays next year. Actually, that's what H and I are doing now. Keeping that in mind, if he's got half a brain, he should be able to figure out he wouldn't get any next year then!!!! crazy Karen

He even stated that he wanted them for a full week before Christmas through Christmas. They aren't even out of school then. And he shows no regard for what are my weekends because the holidays fall on almost every one of mine and they almost always will.

Birthdays are another big deal for me because they are holidays too as far as I am concearned. Ex never cared when we celebrated, they don't matter to him and now of course wants D8!!! He is just this nasty POS that is stuck to my shoe. Yuck!!

Woohoo!! The B got discharged of course there is a glitch that they had the address of one of the creditors wrong but I will call L in the a.m. to see what happens now. I may still owe money to the court, that part isn't done but what a huge weight off of my shoulders. I don't think this the best thing so don't get me wrong but ex left me stuck with practically all the bills plus the house payment when he filed B.

I just feel as I have been in hell for 37 months and I think it is time to really be out!! Now I can start rebuilding my financial life too. smile

See there you go, giving him so much more credit than is due. He doesn't have 1/2 a brain. I believe what was once left of his brain is now shared between his skull, his ummmm, smaller brain keeper and the skank. I'm sure if he had a brain, they'd take it out and play with it anyway.

Don't bother trying to reason with the unreasonable. Its counter productive.

I also getcha on the friends w/benefits thing...its just not a good situation.

I don't think he has a brain anymore because some alien must have eaten it as a snack!! ewwww

I just hope his fling is short lived! Awful of me I know but maybe that will get it out of his system?!

Another benefit of having the B discharged is that my parents were going to give S16 their oolldd (I mean 20 years old) car. Then he can drive to work and school. Just has to get his license.

I spoke with the paralegal in L's office. It looks as if I am totally done. The trustee isn't interested in any of my assets and perhaps because of the 4 kids, he figured it wasn't worth going after anything. So the court doesn't need anything else from me. What I have saved for retirement in the various vehicles is mine. They aren't taking it. You guys know I wasn't happy with this route but I had to do what I had to.

The weight...OMG, I am really start to feel like it is gone. New start in every way. He can't touch me financially anymore. I feel as if I might cry, but tears of happiness. Finally, I can start over totally anew!

I had to file bankruptcy because ex stopped paying the bills he was responsible for according to the divorce decree. He filed bankruptcy in November 2008 and ended up only having to pay a portion towards the bills solely in his name. The remainder of those bills because they were in joint name came back to me.

I was fine paying my share of the debt and the house payment but couldn't financially be responsible for all of it. So after several discussions with a bankruptcy attorney and a lot of soul searching, I decided I didn't want the possiblity of losing our home and working so much that the kids would have to raise themselves. I filed bankruptcy. My credit is toast for several years but all of the debt save the house is gone and I have a clean slate(so to speak).

I hope that explains it better for you Maria. Thanks for stopping by.
