oh geez ... i will be made to look like a world-class golfer if I hang around here.

I can usually manage a 110ish score per 18. on some easier courses (no .. not the ones with astro-turf and windmills and clowns and what not) i may have even flirted with the double digit mark a time or two.

For what it was worth, I was hittin a few meteoric 5 iron shots on the range just a couple days ago. think they were dropping around 200. I may just be ready to try and blend in with the civilized and proper folk on the links. well, i will go for a round or two sometime soon .. in any case.

Ahhhh, Tomato, your scores are not dissimilar to mine! I flirt with 100 a lot, but rarely actually achieve it!

in a long winded fashion .. that is essentially what I was getting at with my score

ahhh the longwinded one that I am. fewer things drive my darling more nuts than that.

good to be longwinded when golfing though ..haha

BobbiJo - I was simply pointing out how simple it is to score a 90 for 18 holes. You only need to get a 5 on each hole. Divide by 2 for 9 holes and you get a 45.

You are right, Kerry. I used to shoot close to that back when I actually golfed more frequently.

Thanks for coming by again, Tomato. I appreciate all of your prayers for my family!

Jeff, I am sure you are a great golfer, especially now that you have been 'schooled' in the art!

Nothing new here. Sydney has a cold and spent half the night coughing, poor thing. I never know with those things if you should take them to the doctor or not. When I do, it seems, they say it is just a virus. When I don't, they wind up with pneumonia! crazy

I am wondering if I should tell Dan to fill out a 'change of address' form. He still gets 90% of his mail here. And something weird to me... he tells me last week while in Canada that he has applied for a Discover card. No big deal, that is his right to do, isn't it? (right now the only credit card he has is the Am Ex he uses for work travel)

Well he goes on in detail to explain why he needed to get one, his Menards (hardware store) card had a promotional no-interest period, which is why he used it to buy windows for the other house. The no-interest period has run out so he wants to transfer the balance to the Discover and use its no-interest period...

Anyway he is telling me all this why? Oh, because the Discover card is coming to my house. He used my address as the billing address. So his new bank account statements come to my house and now his credit card statements will, too? His new house DOES have a mailbox, I have seen it...

Cant you just write on the envelope "Return to sender, name unknown, no such number, no such phone"... It was an old Elvis song...

Confusion, not letting go, etc etc... It is common around here. frown

BBj--

You know, you could just fill out the change of address form yourself and drop it in the mail for the postman. Rubberband it to all the accumulated mail for the postman.

{{{{Hon}}}} I want in on the jewelry shopping!!!

strength begets more strength when it's roots are in the Lord.

I was brought to say that as I read more and more of your posts BBJ.

Continue to bring glory unto His name. Seek His face (ala SMW).

Hallellujah for our great and might Lord has prepared our way by delivering Christ to us. ....And now for the following part ....trials and vices and temptations are many. Remain at His side for protection through it all.

prayer begets more prayer and I am submitting and serving by doing that. you are surely welcome for them. I like having a part in driving the devil off smile & I love knowing that he hates it.
