I guess I'm some better but the weather is not helping any. It was freezing rain early this morning then mostly rain all day. It's pouring now & supposed to be turning colder then we are supposed to get 1 or 2 inches of snow tomorrow morning. I love the snow but all this gloomy freezing temps make it depressing. Plus, I haven't felt well. I've had a bad headache for the last couple of days, I think it's this weather that is coming in so maybe after this cold front moves in my headache will go away.

You can always come out here!! The change in weather affects me, too. I get sinus headaches and once it warms up, I feel better.

Hi nlt, I am sorry about your headache and that you have to experience such cold and icy weather. I thought you were too much south to get these low temperatures? Is your weather also changing?
I can imaging that it makes you depressed. Hopefully, it will be over soon. It is good that you can stay at home. I always do that as well if we get bad conditions.
Our winter is not over either, but I do hope that we will not have any snowfall anymore. The birds are already singing so they must feel spring coming along.
We got a little snow & a little ice & the headache is gone, thank goodness!! It's still pretty cold here but not as bad as it is in KY, those poor people are really getting it!!
I think we are supposed to get more winter weather in here again Monday & Tuesday.
I'm doing ok, just been a little down these past couple of days. I do miss my dog so bad!!! But I'm sure loving on my other dog, she may get tired of all the hugs & kisses I give her.
I'm not so mad at my ex anymore for not being her when she died, I still not happy about it but I'm working on forgiveness, I have to do it for me!
No more emails from OW. All my friends agree that she is insecure & feels threatened by me for some reason.

If you had to send her an email, express yourself in this way, maybe, "hope you are enjoying the leftovers of my H, because at this point I wouldn't want him anyway. Once he sees you for who you really are, then I will have a better man --- one who is able to see people like you for who they really are. In the meantime, I will enjoy the fruits of his and my labour."

I think I've told you all before about the man that married my H & I, he was the former Gov. of Alabama & has been in bad health this past year with cancer. I know I've asked for prayers on here before for him. Well, he passed away this afternoon & I just wanted to ask again to pray for his family & his church family. He was a wonderful preacher, he used to pastor at my church & I've known him since I was about 10 years old. He just happened to be Gov. when we got married. His wife died in 2004 & they were both a very special couple. They have a handicapped daughter who is about 51 now, she will miss him dearly.
I am so sorry to hear this but he is no longer suffering.

Yes, it is sad for family & friends but he has been on a ventilator since Thanksgiving, he will be missed but he is in a much better place & is with his wife that he loved so much!
