She just called to ask me something about the kids. Then she went on to ask me what time Dan got in last night. He went to Rockport, MO to deliver some embryos to a guy we met in April while driving to K.C. to do our taxes. Anyway he and I met the guy then and talked business (they did anyway) and he decided he wanted to buy 20 embryos so Dan had to deliver them.
Well he called me at 8 last night and said he was at Nebraska City, which is only 35 miles from Rockport...
His mom said this morning that he called his dad for some kind of directions at 11 (??) last night, and he did not stay at their house last night as far as she could tell...
So Rockport is just under an hour from here. Don't see any way it took him that long just to go and drop off embryos. The guy IS a talker, they sat in the truck and chatted for an hour the day we met him in April. But still....no way he was gone all night for a 2-hour-round trip that started at 7:30 p.m.
Course that has me thinking about ow/ex ow? who lives in K.C. If he drove to K.C. I could see him spending the night....
Grr! I hadn't thought about her or the possibility of her being in the picture for months now, I don't know when he would have the time...but now I am wondering.
I know we are separated but we are still married and he specifically asked me not to file until he talked to our pastor. Thing is, if I knew he went and saw ow last night, I would file in a heartbeat, no waiting for anything at this point.
From what you have said, I dont think you should bring it up with him. It could just be a lot of talking with the cow egg buyer and maybe he needed to get a motel along the way instead of driving back so late. If OW were to get back in the picture, you would find out pretty soon anyway.
MIL seemed concerned enough to tell you, so I would guess she will be asking her son soon enough.
I ditto Kerry. Why bother at this point? Telling him you know he was out all night will only make him think badly of you anyway. He'll assume you are keeping tabs on him instead of realizing that his oh so nosy mother was just putting crud in your head.

Any idea when he is planning to talk to your pastor? Isn't he back from his vacation yet?

Hey Kerry...i guess we do not always think alike. i think that in the last year or so, I have become more and more suspicious and do not give people who have screwed up in the past the benefit of the doubt.....maybe one day i will be able to.
i am of the opinion that if BBJ has doubts and if this is a deal breaker, i would definatley look into it...don't know how but i would try to find out....snoop damn it.....I know this is so anti DB...but at this point i sense that this would be a deal breaker for BBJ....and on the eve of the trip to Disney.....well at the very least if OW is still involved, Dan would need to find other accomodations at Disney where his 6'3" frame would be more comfortable.....

I question the joining you to disney however. He wants to be there for your childs first trip... tough [censored].... let him make his own arrangements then. Quit catering to him, he is not committed, he is still deceptive, and what the hell is taking him so long to see the pastor?
He needs to at the very least pay for half the trip if he is going.... you should not bare the brunt of the finances on this.
Well I brought it up, just asked if the weather was bad or something (we did have storms), his mom said he didn't make it back...he said he got down there and got turned around (guy lives way out in the boonies, we had a hell of a time finding it in the daylight when we went in April), finally got there, it was so late he just stayed in Maryville (nearest town, a college town so there are motels) for the night...
I paid for the trip b/c it was my idea...
The pastor was not back yet, I think he gets back tomorrow. The youth pastor did the sermon Sunday since regular Pastor was gone. He will get one week once the Pastor is in town (allowing for our being gone to Florida of course) to talk and if he doesn't I will file. Fair enough IMO.
I say snoop like hell....I think you have every right to know if he is screwing around...I'd be in his email, I'd put a GPS tracker on his car..I'd hire a PI to follow him next time he needs to deliver eggs..
and I'd also let him make his own arrangements for Disney..Like Ian...I say tough chitt on seeing his kids do disney...Dan's making this mess....it's pretty simple..it's his to clean up..
I hear ya. But I want one of those shady PI's, where they can get cell phone records, text records, etc. That isn't legal, but I want them!
Actually last night he was giving me attitude about something, and I said, "Seriously, why am I waiting till you talk to the Pastor?" He said, vehemently "Because I asked you to! Because I WANT to talk to him." We'll see, won't we? There was more, the overall theme of the response was that he wants the pastor to convince him that it can work and to tell him how to make it work. Big job for one guy, even if he is an awesome guy....
SERIOUSLY, it is 3:33 in the morning here and I am just getting ready to go to bed! I spent 2 hours trying on all my clothes after the kids went to bed, and packing for me and for them. Lots of clothes and pjs for the three of us for 6 days...not to mention band-aids, sunblock, wipes, etc.
Then I spent another 2 1/2 hours making/printing customized maps for each park, detailing our favorite attractions. Then I finished my 2-page itinerary. For each day I listed park hours, dining plans, which places we will go, etc etc. And printed out the list of all restaurants covered by the dining plans. And printed out our flight plans, map of our resort, etc.
Also called to set up a sedan-type taxi to take us to Sea World, checked the 7-day weather outlook.
I think I did everything, can I go to bed now?

Geeeez BBJ, you are soooooo organized. We have been twice and we pretty much woke up had breakfast and decided what we wanted to do..... The parks open early in the morning and close pretty late so....there was plenty of time to see everything. I admire your planning and quite honestly got quite a chuckle from it this morning....I am still smiling. By the way as far as clothes go, shorts, t shirts and bathing suits should do the trick, Have fun BBJ....I still can't stop smiling.....3 A.M.!
