The kids just went to the movies, I get to pick them up and play taxi. So the party was more of an all day thing. Not as many kids came as had hoped but I think he was still fine with that. Ex came to pick up S13 and was leaving with some soda. I said are you just taking that? He said yes. I told him that he really needed to learn to ask when he takes things. He said well I contributed money and I said I put in money too. Do I need to teach you common courtesy? He said No. I replied someone does, oh maybe I should write skank, but wait she doesn't understand that either. He said "Nice".

Geesh, where did those bad toads come from? I have been doing so well but had a major headache by the time he came over. No excuse. Back to work and keeping my focus. I know this habit of his has really bothered me and I have mentioned it a few times already. He just refuses to bend.

Oh, well. You're still almost perfect. I think you're just angry at him about it all, and then it comes out over little things? And they don't have common tact or courtesy or whatever, like 3 year olds or something, so just have low to no expectations?

I'm thinking about getting the dating for dummies or whatever. Do you know I've barely ever dated. Both Rs I had I was friends with them and it just turned into you know. So I'm clueless. I will not be dating until after the D, but I swear like 2 minutes later... Whatcha up to? Karen

I am not feeling as bad about it now. Stuff happens. He does this at his parents and I guess I did too. Kind of just go help yourself when you want something to drink but he doesn't live here anymore.

Nothing exciting today just trying to relax after a full day with numerous teenagers.

I tried to call you too. Ever since I moved way out in the country my cell doesn't work sometimes. And my company is the only one that supposedly works around here. I guess I might have to break down and get a landline!!! I'm trying to charge it and see if that helps.

It doesn't help when the boy decide to wrestle and knock my phone under the couch! I saw that you called. I'll give you a try in a bit.

Thinking about you today, Kat. Keep yourself busy with friends, and give yourself permission to let your emotions out if you need to at some point. Just remember what a great woman and mother you are, and that God will never let you down. Let Him comfort you.

Thank you. Today isn't just another day no matter how much I try to think of it as such. Memories of getting ready for our wedding and being so amazed that he was there...they find their way in.

G thought I should burn something and then stop thinking of it as a special day. Don't know about that!! I have used the date in various capacities of my life and hard to let it go but I suppose I must.

I did box up more of his stuff for Goodwill because I can't handle the idea of her wearing his shirts to bed like I used to. I do have plans for tonight with a friend and we will see where I go from there.

What they have become, unfortunately/fortunately doesnt erase what they were for/to us.
Keep walking, only look back for joy, not sadness. You cant deny your life so far but you can make your life as of now the way you want it to be.

I do keep walking and what I see before me is a whole lot better than what has been left behind! I am building the life I want and if someone new comes in...great but I don't need that to be happy. I have my beautiful kids, my family and a bunch of great friends.

I just need a little more sculpting to make it better. Oh and a splash of color here and there and I will be set!
